Artificial Intelligence

So has anyone seen A.I.?
We saw it on Sunday, but was wondering if anyone else saw it?

I won't give my opinion until I see that some people have seen it first.

If you saw it, what did you think?

I saw it with Lane - we both pretty much agreed that the movie rocked !

It was a fresh idea - basically a high-tech new age tale. Awesome acting and a freaky vision for the future, for sure.

I loved it.. It was a great movie.. The way they presented everything was way cool..

The story line was a bit sad, but the movie itself with the way everyting was presented on screen was awsome..

I loved it..

So did much of the boneprone family.
Exxxotica, Dank, me, Insight My wife and Chan.

I think Exxxotica was crying.. The fucking puss.

Spielbergo can't write his screenplay bites and he doesn't know how to write dialogue. He's lucky he had Kubrick's storyboards. I liked his wannabe 2001 shit where the kid wakes up with the aliens, that was sad.

It might of been good but it should of been great.

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm about to go on a rant about this film. If you want to see the movie, stop reading this trhead now!

----------------------------------------------------------------
Wait for the DVD???? Are you fucking kidding me?

I was ready to slap a lawsuit on Dreamworks demanding my money and everyone else's money back.

It was reeeaallllllyyyyy slow. And it reeeaallllllyyyyy sucked!

I love Kubrick. Schepeeel-berg is no Kubrick.

It wasn't at all what I thought it would be about. And when I realized what it was about, the beat you over the head with it, until your sick to your stomach.

I especially liked how it ended 4 DIFFERENT TIMES!!!

"Oh, that was kind of a lame movie. Are you ready to go- Wha? There's more?"

10 minutes later...

"Oh, ok, now it's over let's go-Huh? It's still going?"

10 minutes later...
"I hope that was it, nope."

10 minutes later...
"WHAT THE FUCK!! That sucked, and what was up with this lame ass ending. GO FUCK YOURSELVES!! Cat, get my gun! What? Well, remeind me to go buy a gun. I need to shoot holes in all the screens in all the theatres that's showing this horrible piece of shit film"

My advice. Don't go.
No, scratch that. GO. See it for your self.

Going was good for me, now I have a movie to benchmark bad movies against.

"Hey it was bad, but at least it wasn't A.I."

General census in our shop, from 100% of the people that saw the film, "hated it."

My boss said he was literally laughing (out loud) at the (last) ending.
Trust me it was stupid.

The only thing I can say is - This kid is going to be a star for a long time!

I agree with RedShoe on most of what he said, but there were still some good things about the movie. Teddy cracked me up at times.

Yeah, I must say that I was glad that I spent $25.00 that night and the only redeeming character in that whole film was a fucking rod puppet/cgi teddy bear.

Wow, I can't believe how upset I still am.

Saw Momento again today. That's still an awesome flick.

Sometimes I find myself getting so pissed at my beloved Kubrick because he didn't do enough while he was alive. Doing a movie every 10 or 15 years means that he doesn't do many of the projects he wants to. And that's a shame.

AI would have rocked if it was Kubrick all the way. I could sense him in it....barely.

Pinnochio 2001 was one of the most disturbing and thought provoking movies Kandi and I have seen in a long time.

We are still talking about it, and dreaming about it. Like it, or hate it, it sticks with you.

I haven't seen it yet -- but a friend told me the plot... seems so poetic and original. I have to wonder how it could be such a bad movie.

With the exception of the lock of hair -- that seems a little too ironic and convenient for me that the boy would have kept the hair or even had cut hair in the first place... but the irony of the hair -- it being a reminder of not only his love for his mother, but as a painful symbol of his fall from grace in her eyes -- and his brother's betrayal... and then to use it again for a resurection -- the hair becoming a gift...that he deserves in the eyes of the audience. that could really jerk some tears if done properly...

it's almost as if in the end -- his being alive -- has given him his spiritual right to be owed by the universe his reward for having true loving intent in his actions. many of us would like to think that we will be rewarded for our actions -- especially in the afterlife... but what is "after" for a robot?

some of the scenes sound cool -- the robots looking for their spare parts... we project onto them a humble martyrdom... the sad reality of discarded souls -- reminds me of the Mexican families here in Venice that come out late at night, sifting through dumpsters together searching for disgarded plastic bottles and cans...

ehehe but I never even saw the movie... i still think the plot sounds cool though.

and yet here I am
a sifter of traffic
wanting of disgarded hits
bits and pieces
of human clicks
mingled with the thoughtless wanderings
of lost robots
searching and searching
without knowing
mimicking the lost souls of horny surfers
lurking for love
in all the wrong places.

Just saw it tonight. What a worthless hunk of shit. I feel like setting a homeless person on fire, someone has to pay for my pain.

If you liked it you should be drug into the street and shot execution style. You have no taste and are most likely mesmerized by small shiny objects.

That kid has a future? I see fucking dead people and this load of crap. This kid is another Macaulay Culkin, cute as a kid... but that little kid fetal alcohol syndrome look dont fly very far when your 16. You end up looking like 12clicks, and believe you me, that aint pretty.

Lame plot, lame actors, half assed special effects, lame attempts at pulling heart strings. This movie was made for the cattle movie going audiences in this country. Mooooo. Die. If you have a personalized license plate, or anything with Taz on it, you and your lame ass ilk will love this 2 hours of mind numbing pablum.

I have a personalized license plate on my six-four. It says PIMPALA.

Of course now that I'm an unemployed bum I spose I'll have to set it on fire to get the insurance money.
