The ARS Song
There once was a guy named Marc De,
Who owned a big part of ARS, When people would say he shaved, He'd reply, "that's just a farce" ARS used to kick a lot of ass, Would pay me huge amounts And although they have a free host, They don't accept new accounts. ARS tells you they have content. And even though its free, It hasn't been updated, Since 1993. I really wonder what happened, To the ARS we knew so well, Who converted great for us, Without the popup Hell. With the old ARS I never worried, I was always in signup Heaven, But with ARS 2nd Generation, I'm 1 in 3 million and seven So ARS tell me what happened, To the way things used to be, Back when you were a great sponsor, And actually cared about little ol' me. We all stuck by you when you were growing, Trying to make a buck, And even though you are banned by The Hun You still don't give a fuck. So listen up Marc De, going to tell you know, You'll no longer get traffic from me, Because of your crappy conversion ratio, It's back to my job at KFC! ![]() --Brock |

Nice little song. Im sorry to hear that you dont like ARS anymore. Most of the webmasters there seem to be doing pretty well. Maybe it's time you start looking at where your traffic is coming from. The same old traffic day in and day out wont cut it anymore.

"Most of the webmasters there seem to be doing pretty well. " I dont agree with that, quite the opposite but I'll agree that the same traffic becomes unproductive.

Brook - sorry to hear about your declining ratios. Song is funny, even I'll agree. Too bad you didn't put the energys towards building your business or contacting me directly. I'm always here to help and answer questions.
Just to be aware, we are banned at the hun, however we did work something out with him. That is link directly to an FPA and send the FPA to the first tour page (which our links allow you to do) So I do give a F**K ![]() Also, FYI, I still own 100% of ARS and don't see that changing in the near future. Most webmasters were very pleased with the change to the 2nd Generation. More money, far more accurate tracking. I could go on and on. If you would like to contact me directly, use ICQ @ 46972932 Myself and ARS always care for our client. And EVERY webmaster is a perspective client. |

Let's talk about my traffic kasper.
I spend nearly $10k a month purchasing top listings and keywords at the top 5 SE's. They are linked either directly to ARS's tour, or are filtered through my free site which consists of excellent site design, freshly bought content, and enough bandwidth and processing power to serve a small country. Next, I send all my AVS traffic to them, via banners and juicy text links. I figured some AVS programs are better than others, so I have joined all of them, with a site for each. All my AVS sites have both pics and movies. Next, I post 5 galleries a day to the top 25 TGP's every day, using 5 different aliases, which nets me another 250,000 uniques.I am trusted submitter at 8 of them, and always get good spots. Next I spend another $7,000 on banner ads and listings at the top 8 TGP's, linklists, and toplists. I also operate a few TGP's of my own, and the 60k daily visitors see nothing but ARS ads on them. I have bots spamming newsgroups, search engines, and AOL chat rooms 24/7. I also run programs that send ICQ and MS Messenger users from 8am to 12am every day of the week. I run BlackWidow on its own dedicated server to harvest fresh e-mail addresses which I spam the heck out of. I have bought all the email lists, including that lame CD2001 disc we all joke about. I link to ARS blind and I link to them legit. I link to the tour page, to the 2nd tour page and to the 3rd tour page. If they had a 4th, I would link to that to. Kasper, when I say I'm 1:3,000,007, i really am 1:3,000,007. However, if you have suggestions on how I can get more and better traffic, please post. I am eager to hear your ideas! --Brock |

ldinternet - haha
I think its because of the huge pool of contacts you have as a sponsor, billing, or TGP. I get notified of posts like this moments after they happen by someone who happens to stumble across them. They are looking out for my best interests. I want the chance to show my (ARS) point of view. Its important that everyone know we (ARS) are always looking out for our webmasters and potential webmasters!! I'm on this computer more than I should be to help keep in touch with webmasters and keep them happy. ![]() |

I have to agree with Marc De. Im new to adult webmastering (if thats a word) and I started with ARS. I have not recieved my first check yet, but they have a very professional look, and are very friendly people in general. Ive had very bad experinces with TopCash in the past, and ARS seems to be a very nice program, and looks promissing.

Hello Marc,
Glad you enjoyed the song and that you at least have a sense of humour! Judging by my post above, I *DO* spend a lot of time building my business. And as a business man yourself, I'm sure you'll agree that its important to keep your customers happy. Seriously though, I love ARS and all you guys there: You, Becky, Laura, etc... You were my first sponsor, and like my first lay, I'll never forget you. But how is it possible that everything is falling apart at the seems? Traffic and conversion ratios aside, it's the little things that count: BestSexHost -- No more accounts on BestSexHost? Well then stop telling us "it will be up this week". That was over 3 weeks ago. I know you lose revenue on it, but us Webmasters love it! Heck, I'd still use it even if it wasn't bannerless! Content -- Hey Marc, the eighties called, they want their content back, lol Geez, I swear, some of your newer pictures depict a girl in workout socks standing next to a brand new (at the time) '87 Chevy IROC....heheh And choice of content! You know those sets you have of the brunette girl with the blue shirt and khaki pants? She has a tampon string hanging from her cooch for Christ's sake! My goodness... Sales remote -- I used to love that thing, until it stopped working. Message board -- What ever happened to your proposed transition to UBB board? Instead, your current message board looks like the Unabomber programmed it. At least switch to IKONBoard, it's free! Gallery builder -- broken! Marc, I appreciate your open-door policy. But actions speak louder than words in this industry so.... FIX STUFF! You'll become a bigger hero in my book than you already are. So you going to be in Vegas? Let's grab a drink -- I'll even pay for it assuming I can use some of my ARS Reward Points.... |

Oh.. don't forget to print up flyers and pass them out in WalMart parking lots. Those help too. ![]() |

See what I mean..spammers and cheaters make the bucks...
Honest webmasters get fuck all... Really...it's a frustrating thing! The path to riches in this biz is built on the corpses of the honest webmaster. Am I getting too poetic again...where's my sketch book...gotta go draw up some more Unicorns! |

Bitch bitch Bitch!
Nag Nag Nag! Damnit no wonder you make no $$$ ![]() Following the ARS threads on all the boards(PC, here, AWI, APN etc.) it's all the same. But what amazes me is that not once the advertising means are examined, all I read is: Let's build a gallery, cluther ARS all over it and wait for the bucks to roll in. Ok people how about some facts? FACT Repetition works studies since 1995 have shown that it takes at LEAST 7 views of teh same banner for teh avarage surfer to click on it. FACT Middle right corner is a better place for ads then top and bottom or the center. FACT Textlinks pull better then banners, and Banners on TGP traffic FACT It pays of to transform crap traffic into quality traffic BEFORE you send it to an FPA There ya have it. I have an ARS account for quite some time now, but only recently started realy using it. Conversions are 1:150 on Fucking TGP traffic so what are ya guys complaining about? Just don't advertise ARS straight on the gallery page and they work wonders. If only you'd spend as much energy in marketing then you do in bitching and nagging you all would be millionairs ![]() Wolfshade ------------------ Get paid per minute! Dialerclopedia |
