Anyone know how many are on high speed connections and how many are on dialup?
is there a statistic somewhere on this?

In July, more than half of U.S. households connected to the Internet were via broadband connections, data from Nielsen//Net Ratings show. Broadband accounts for 51% of Internet connections, up from 38% in July 2003"

got that quote in a newsletter . . . source was from WSJ on 8/18

Which means, while one might TARGET the high-broadband market, one shouldn't ignore the dialup segment...

many people now have broadband, but the fact still remains that a majority still have shitty comps, so even if their connexion is lightening fast, they end up downloading at 56k speeds because of viruses, outdated harddrives, etc...
