Are you reading a book atm?

I'm reading "Black House" by Stephen King & Peter Straub

King is my favorite writer, and this book seems good so far

I generally have several books going at once and I never get them confused.. One is a research book.. title "Underworld" by Graham Hancock, and the other is pure smut and entertainment.. Circus of the Damned by Laurel K. Hamilton. I'm re-reading it but her books only get better the more you read them, not worse.

I'm not a big fan of fiction books, but I'd recommend this one for sure.

What was that shit at the end about? How he made up another story? What was the meaning behind that?

It tries to analyse the conflict between globalisation/capitalism and cultural/religious fanaticism. It got a great review by the NY Times, but it's full of factual errors and the argumentation is rather feeble.

It's written by Benjamin R. Barber, a professor in politicology and a former advisor to Bill Clinton... it kinda shocks me that someone like that can write a bunch of crap such as this.

The ending is not what the reader expects and as such is quite an acomplishment on the part of the author. The reality of living out in the ocean for several months in the company of a tiger is wonderfully realised and not for a second does real disbelief set in.

If there's a deep underlying moral, I failed to catch it myself.

It just shows that the most terrible thing can be looked at as something beautiful - I ugess.

Im currently reading Killer in Drag by Ed Wood Jr who is better known for his film Plan 9 From Outer Space . The book is so low on the literary level that it actually rivals his films. A lot of the book revolves around the main characters obsession with heels and angora sweaters. It's a must read for transvestites who happen to love pulp novels and Ed Wood fans.
I just finished Pattern Recognition by William Gibson and Mirror Mirror by Gregory Maguire, both of which were excellent. I am also reading the usual hodgepodge of coding and programming books.
