I posted this earlier today:
New search tool gets billionaire Cuban's backing (icerocket.com) Broadcast.com founder and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is backing a new Internet search start-up that aims to take over where Google leaves off. http://news.com.com/New+search+tool+...l?tag=nefd.top also: News.com publisher CNET Networks relaunches its own metasearch site, Search.com, on Wednesday. I'm sure old news to SEO's... |

the reason why I brought up icerocket.com is because they were considered an also-ran until Mark Cuban attached his name to it. So it looks like they're here to stay. and I believe KPCB(vc) is looking at them too. Everything Cuban touches turns to gold. He's the one that sold broadcast.com to yahoo for billion+ $. He's also the one doing the reality copycat show of Trump called "The Benefactor" except that he's got money and Trump is broke. And owning the NBA Dallas Mavericks can't hurt either. his blog is at:
Watch Out Google?.here we come ! www.blogmaverick.com Maybe his non-compete/nda with Yahoo just ended and thats why he's in the SE industry now. |

Actually, I do have a PR4 site which has no backlinks whatsoever and it's been around for nearly 6 months. I honestly don't know how that happened but I ain't complaining. WG

c u n t blog.com (no spaces, damn dictionary censor) lustblog.com enemablog.com fistingblog.com pissingblog.com and more -- see .sig. But the offers would have to be juicy. I'm making too much with similar domains to let these go cheap. |

We present many business concepts to investors/vc while the startups remain "In Stealth Mode". If the vc's don't bite, then we put it on the backburner and let it incubate on the web, generating traffic/members and then re-introduce the concept to VCs again. That's how I sold my mainstream internet business. I'm just gonna keep using the cookie-cutter to do it again & again. I'm here to network and build a site around a domain I just acquired: curious.com - i had a few offers from mainstream companies for the domain, but everytime I mention the name to ppl, they either thinks its a KIDs portal or an adult/dating site. When I wired money to the previous owner, my banker whispered, "Are you going to build a porn site?" And this person is so UPTIGHT. made me LOL. So we'll see where GFY leads me. |

more blog news for those who care...
Tech term of the day: LoMoSo. maps + blogs = $ LoMoSo? Has cell phone blogging found its place? Cell phone software makers are putting a new twist on Web logs by tapping into geotracking features in handsets. However, the location-based mobile social networks--or "LoMoSos" are... http://news.com.com/Has+cell+phone+b...html?tag=st_lh - Be great if a dating/event sponsor could incorporate the .25 micropayments somehow. Localized profiles of people ready to party in your city. Sure they could work out anti-stalking technology, or make the cells act like the lovegety/lovebeeper from the past. Plenty of dating/info/mPorn services like this in Asia/Japan, hopefully adopted here soon. The word "LoMoSo" has a nice ring to it. |
