I need a good freehost for my pics with enough space, ulimited if possible and bandwidt! File size must be atleat 250K thats allowed to be uploaded and musn't have banners that fill up the entire screen...thx

He has unlimited space, but you may have to get multiple accounts. Also, 250k is a huge file for someone to download, so if it's an image compress that bitch.

If it is an image you'll lose your surfer during the download. Lose a surfer, lose a sell.

If it's a video, I can't help you I don't do videos

Your also in luck because Lightning doesn't fill up your "entire screen" with ads just a little at the top and bottom. Which you should be more than happy with since he's paying for the bandwidth.

He has a file image limit as well. We've never seen a freehost that allows that size of file unless you are using their content on their freehost only.

You are asking for too much for free.

Gem, Lush and Redshoe, once again thanks for all your kind words. I done want to have another Free Host thread....too many of them lately...

I am not even remotley interested in a 250k file size...I wouldn't do that to my worst enemies server.. and on top of that little to no headers he asks for.. This is 1 webmaster that can just keep on going down the road, and not stop at my house..LOL

Well, I came in here to plug lightningfree myself... but he has a few up here already.

I do have a possible solution. It is not a free host, but it is cheap. www.ncaw.com has 8 OC192's (so shit moves really fast off their servers), unlimited space, and they charge $3 per gig of traffic that you pull. With them there are no banners.

Might be something to look into... I just signed a couple new domains under them.

want to use files that big, unless you wanted
to host movies. I bet you wouldent use files like that on a server YOU pay for. LOL

250 kb is pretty HUGE for image files. I've seen super-high-quality scans on those "scanner" sites that are some of the best quality in the biz, and most of them are less than 150kb, although why you'd want to give away that kind of quality for free is beyond me anyway.

If you use a good image editing program, (I use Paint Shop Pro 7), you should be able to size down your images (don't forget to sharpen them after) so they are under 80kb each, and they should still retain a high quality.

Think about it mark....do you want more than half of your surfers (who are still on dialup connections) to sit there and wait for your 250kb pics to download? At 2 kb/s that's like 2 minutes per pic!! No way in hell I'd wait that long for any pic to download, ever. It's quite presumptuous of you to expect a freehost to eat the cost of your bandwidth-chewing-monster files without at least getting their ad space in, wouldn't you say?

OK! 250KB is abit big, I'll try to resize them to 100KB or maybe even lesser than 100KB! I know that u can upload 250KB size files to sexshare but their banners are getting way to big and they started using popups now

No banners and nothing on the top. Just 4 or 5 text links to the hosts pay sights at the bottem. I just joined myself but seems pretty good. I dont rember how much space they give.

No Prob.. I like how it makes gallery pages look. The links at the bottem blend in really good and makes it look like its not on a free host. Except for the link leading to the main page of clubtgp but that dosent really matter much.
