Well, I came in here to plug lightningfree myself... but he has a few up here already.
I do have a possible solution. It is not a free host, but it is cheap.
www.ncaw.com has 8 OC192's (so shit moves really fast off their servers), unlimited space, and they charge $3 per gig of traffic that you pull. With them there are no banners.
Might be something to look into... I just signed a couple new domains under them.
