Need some good recipes

I want to make a really nice meal tonight, and I'm all out of inspiration. The closest I've come so far is something like:

-mustard/brie soup with french bread
-cold pasta/tomato/olive/mozarella salad with fresh basil
-roast beef with red wine sauce
-tiramisu

But that doesn't really fit together all that well. So, does anyone have some good recipes to share?

Take 1 cup of whipping cream, little bit of white wine, 1/4 cup of basil and about a tablespoon of butter. Bring to a light boil and keep it there for awhile, then add about 1c of parmesan cheese. Then add whatever you like, I add tomatoes and chicken. You can add mushrooms, broccoli, anything really, then for meat either shrimp or chicken. Mix over linguine and there you go. Serve with a loaf of really good bread, then your tiramitsu.

Get a nice pork tenderloin. Make a slice lengthwise and flatten it out lightly. Cook up some andouille sausage or ground conecuh (spicy sausage). Slice up some smoked gouda cheese. Insert the gouda and sausage along the center of the porkloin and roll it up. Tie it together with string in several places. Rub it down with some spices (salt, pepper, Tony's, etc) and bake it at 350 until it's done. Slice it into "medallions" and lay 4 or 5 slices on the plate and cover with some hollandaise.

Pork Roulade!

Summer if the most difficult time of the year for me to plan meals because when it is really hot I don't feel like cooking..let alone eating.

In the heat you can never go wrong with a crisp wine and a nice, leafy (not iceberg) salad.
