you just crossed that line with your posts, unbelievable.. |
I'm sure the old ladies will still be pissed, but I also know I can show them your freedom of speech to post such things. It's not wrong to post them, it's just wrong to mock them and laugh at them.
DP, Were you interviewing them for a NicheBucks shoot at the same time? LOL Olderwomen.com |

But, no, that wasn't the case. The old ladies I shoot for the web generally don't have much money. Humorous thought, though. :) |

"No one was forced to watch it." This fuckwit creates an animated gif and blatantly forces it on people who don't want to see it ... that is down right retarded and fucking weak. JaceXXX - you have absolutely zero class man. Lick my balls. -Phil |
Not that anyone will ever see this post but....

My opinion hasn't changed from what I said the last time folks were riding Rick's ass. It's his site, he can put whatever he wants to on it and change it anytime he wishes. If you don't like it, go build the "politically correct CJ site":glugglug

Why don't you read this thread? The only people riding his ass are ones saying that he should keep CJ the way it is. You got it backwards. We're now riding the ass of the dipshit JaceXXX who posted the cat burning gif IN this thread. |

Wasn't JaceXXX the idiot who pissed in an ATM in Atlanta and ended up in jail for it?
Then he posted criticizing people who go wild and cause problems at shows? Talk about some fucking hypocrisy! :321GFY Rick, I don't think you have to worry about the words of someone who has trafficking, mail theft, and credit card fraud on his record. |

As far as people posting gifs to grab attention, not a part of the issue.:glugglug |
Seens lensman doesn't agree with the .gif either.
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...adid=330605&s= If it keeps being posted it might become an issue. |
Jace is a really cool guy and a very stand up one at that. He has been a very good friend to CJ and has had great respect for what they do and how they dont bend to opinion but the times are changing. Rick and I may see alot of things differently. He is a very smart business man and he sees the writing on the wall. The wild west is coming to a end.

Rick, Marc, and CJ Team
Just want to deeply deeply and totally thank you guys for this decision revision and being sensitive and understanding in resolving this issue in such a prompt and professional manner. The reason why the cat video drew such an uproar in comparison to the beheading and other videos is that little animals are like children. They are completely defenseless, innocent, dependent on us for their survival, loving, playful, cuddly, cute, gentle, precious, and more. Losing a pet or seeing a pet hurt is as traumatic an event emotionally and psychologically to the majority of people as losing or seeing a child being hurt. Its that simple. It hits us at the core of our souls, and hits us so hard their pain and suffering is felt as our own pain. Most people value their pets to their hearts on the same level as their children. They are a part of the family. Most people are capable of killing someone who would hurt a child or a small animal I truly believe. And you could see that level of emotion clearly in many of the posts. If there is anything the overwhelming majority of the Web would agree on I think it would be there is one line out there, and it stops with the exploitation of children and cruelty to animals. Doesn't mean that many people cross that line despite the majority of people thinking anything past it is wrong, as we see with the unstoppable exploitation of kids by CP producers. But clearly if everyone was queried, I'm sure those two would be at the top of the list. I stated in one of my threads, the Net is one of the greatest communications tools mankind has ever created. Its very nature and structure is sheer brilliance - the Net is all of us. We get to play God. We get to be its creators. It is what we are. The good the bad and the ugly all intertwined into a hodgepodge of all our knowledge, all our thoughts, all our humor, all our fantasies, all our wharped and twisted perversions. In light of this freedom and such stretching power to create things that the entire planet can see and experience comes the inherent responsibility to govern ourselves and with minimal intervention of governments and powerful media corporations who traditionally are the regulators of all that is seen by the public. This responsibility though virtually completely unrestricted and unhindered because of the very nature of the Net's structure, is policed at the end of the day best by the voices of ourselves. And those voices when spoken in unity have immense and dramatic power, as we saw this past week with the cat video. Mere voices unified can exert the power of weapons, sometimes with the intensity of an all out battlefield. The people, your customers, your advertisers, your friends, your business associates, even your die hard CJ fans, spoke to you, and spoke with a ferocious roar. You and your team undoubtley had many sleepless and frustrating days dealing with this, and I'm sure this had to be one of the most difficult business decisions since CJ was founded. Especially since your site is solidly based on the mantra that no holes are barred, we show it all. You listened to everyone's voices and responded accordingly and for that I commend you and say you did the right thing with this situation and deserve to have full restoration of all your business and fan relationships that were affected by this. For what its worth, you have my full respect again and I deeply applaud you for handling this issue so responsibly. |

This means you must sometimes allow for the possibility that you're WRONG about something. Or sometimes you must choose to hold your tongue until you've tried to work things out with someone before you publicly cry on message boards. That's part of being a successful business person. You seem like a bright person. You really will learn someday. I guarantee it. |
