Yngwie about your nephew thread.

I respect what you are trying to do to help your nephew as Angeleyes and I have donated to it.

But bumping the thread yourself so much is in my eyes starting to take away from the reason it was started in the first place.

Although this is a fast moving board, you know that 90% of people that would donate would have seen it by now.

I know you are doing what you can and I applaud you for your effort..... but try and have others bump for you so it doesn't take away from the cause.

I would love to do more than Jenn and I did to help, please feel free to icq me 1904905 and I will bump for you at times.

You have peers on here that like you... use them to your advantage.

No hate here as I have helped out before on threads like this.... just want to make sure your nephew gets the most possible from our community and you look good for bringing it to our attention.

Again nothing but our prayers go out to your nephew and family during this time of need.

Well, since this is a new thread....how about some suggestions here for Yngwie? What ideas do YOU have to help him meet the needs of his family during this stressful time?

How about donations of something other than money for those short on cash but big on talent? Designers? Would you consider donating a banner that can be auctioned off? Traffic brokers, how about some traffic to galleries where the money will be donated to Yngwie's nephew?

Yngwie is trying his very best to help his family at this time. I feel he wants to help out his sister and family and show them people care and are there for them. Can we get this going in a positive way? This community is capable of doing some great things. Sometimes all it takes is for a few people to get behind it and encourage others to do so. So how bout it folks?

Another problem is people have been burned by "donation" threads here before. Some people are just being cautious.

Brad I can understand that...but Yngwie has proved his cause is true. His nephews story appeared in the local newspaper.

Why not set up a website that brings exposure to those who do offer money, time or resources? something like webmastersforbaily.com or something.

I realize that its not in the best taste to donate for a cause to promote your program but greed is a powerful motivator for many and the way i see it regardess of motive the bottom line is more money for his and his family.

Most webmaster on gfy probably have already see the post and those who dontated just to help probaly have. The rest may need an incentive.

Those who cant sent money could easily list it in their webmasters sections driving traffic and as a result value to the wms for donating.

Im sure you could find freehosting, design, traffic etc from people here as well.

Once again dont flame me. In a perfect world people would donate only because its a good idea but the point here is baily and his family so any means to an end imho is a good thing.

the main page of gfy has approx. 100 threads from which the majority of them are retarded as usual. I would prefer to see yngwie's thread that may benefit the fund 10% more, than see another lame thread taking the place.

That is a very good suggestion. People love to pay for exposure and if the exposure is a small donation to the trust fund...all the better!
