Fucking Cops
Cops in my town have nothing do but give tickets for bullshit things. I am in a process of selling my car, so I removed the plates. I needed to move the car from one location to another, so I put the plates back on, one against the front windshield and the other in the back, the plates can be clearly seen. And I got a ticket for "Improper Plate Display"....WTF...
Does anyone know if this is a moving violation and affects the insurance? Any info would be good, I am scared my points will go up. |

This shouldn't effect your insurance. Did you get an appearance ticket or do you just have to pay a fine.
I'd go to court and plead your case. You'll probably just get off with paying court fees. My town's biggest money maker is getting people who make right turns on red or at stop signs. They have "No Turn" signs posted...200 Feet from the intersection, so they can get away with it. |
