Is this thing still years away from completely being settled? I keep hearing that Acacia is on the verge of getting class action status against all adult webmasters, and that once this happens they will sue everyone. I really don't want that to happen. I just want them to die and go away quickly.

(trying to remember as many of the defendants as i can that haven't settled - most of which have affiliate programs and all of them are fighting Acacia.)

The class action hearing was supposed to happen on July 7th.. the judge postponed it.. i reported about it on my website in guess that the judge was finding his rulings on the claims to not be in favor of acacia, thus the need to postpone the class action.

With this Markman Order, the guess was right. There won't be a class action..

I know that brutha baddog shares in the good news, and is trying to bring balance to the excitement.... the battle is certainly not over, and Acacia can put up legal roadblocks to drag the final resolution into 2005..... so again, support the defendants by supporting financially and/or joining their affiliate programs.

Sales for them, means money in your pocket, as well as additional money to keep driving the stake.

It seems that whoever was researching the various meanings of phrases and words in question in Acacia vs. New Destiny relied heavily on Webster?s dictionary for the precise definitions.

In a 40 page ruling handed down today by Judge Ware it spelled out the various items and pieces of the patent claims that were in question and identified what the plaintiff (Acacia) believed was the correct way to interpret and what the defendant (New Destiny) believed was the correct interpretation.
