new content provider needs advice
I'm a photographer just beginning work as a content provider for adult sites. So far I only have about 30-45 usable pics from one model. Could someone tell me the best way to recruit more models for this business?

This is not my area of expertise, but, I would think local newpapers. On your site also put a link for people that want to sell their pics, either of themselves or if they own exclusives. I don't know what the protocol is with recruiting at strip clubs and the like, they probably wouldn't like that though.
Oh...I was just ICQ'd from a vet here at this board, wiZd0m. I asked him and he says he buys at Matrix and from David Lace. I'm assuming that is exclusive content not models you can photograph yourself though. Good luck. |

so far I've been offering models $100 for one photo shoot which takes anywhere form 1-4 hours depending on how prepared the model is. I've also approached women and offered them 50% of all net profits made from their pics and that's how I got my 1st model but I think I'm gonna put an ad in the paper offering $100 for a nude photo shoot.

something you really really must learn about is how to prove you are legal content proveder.. If you dont have proof it has a muli year jail sentence, and that allpies to the content provider and the webmaster.

In addition to letting buyers know your images meet sec 18 U.S.C. 2257
You must also supply the buyer with the appropriate documentation. This should and may include of course at the mininmium a model release form.. What MUST be on it is filled in and completed her social security number her date of birth and her signature on the release.. Also get a witness to sign the form also.. Have a space for the photographer to sign, the amount, the witness, and the models signature with her social security and date of birth.. Then take a photo of her with her social security card in one hand, and social security in the other, and have her hold it up to her face to prove it is her.. Then you are secured. Then you can sell your shit and give people the piece of mind you are legit. 2257 is very very serious and is becoming more so with the new administration.. Another item to take into account is the obscenity laws.. They havent been enforced much with the previous administration, but there is concern in the industry that it is all about to change. With the new administration precautions must be addressed. You must be prepared that they will be enforcing these laws much sooner than later as they had promised to special intrest groups that elected them.
If convicted and your photos-content are deemed as obscene you can run into some vactaion time in the local prision as well. Breifly defined obscene is defined as anything that holds no artistic or scientific value. A girl with cumm dripping down her face may be questionable now. Or even a gangbang, so do at your own risk.. These are not new laws by any means, but the previous administration was very liberal, and allowed our industry to grow into what it is today.. The new administration as vowed to enforce these vague laws, and stop and eliminnate obsenity to protect the children, and public from viewing it.. Should be intresting where everything stands in a few years.. Also take note that the obscentiy law is typically enforced and intrpreted on a state by state basis.. What Conservative state was it that the lady was arrested for owning a dildo?? It was deemed as obscene, and even though she had it in her own home, it was enforced as obscene and she was arrested and jailed for it? I shit you not, this recently happened!
And its only gunna get worse in these states, and change will occur in all others as well to some extent. |

get all of that shit.. You MUST PROOVE that the model is who she cliams.. You have to have a licence, and social security card.. Then you must prove it is hers.. This can be done by taking a photo of her holding up her photo id which may be a valid drivers licence or passport, also a social security card.. Heres a boneprone model and how we do it.

I don't have a website I just sell content to those who do.
I don't have an ICQ number yet. And to x-web: That's a good idea. I could leave the editing to you. But are all the webmasters willing to edit their own stuff or do they prefer it already in a package of some still pics, some video clips, and some full length videos? If I could sell just the videos and let site owners edit it themselves that would be great! There's a program you can get called Picture It that enables you take any still frame from a full length video so that you could pick and choose any pic you want from the video footage. I could get content to you a lot quicker if you're willing to do the editing youself. But if you don't want to edit it I can still get good content to any of you. ------------------ |

If soo, this would be easy for dank.. He has lots of film camcorder uneditied footage.. But the avarge webmaster doesnt have the sotware and harware to convert that to mpeg files does he? |

I can get the equipment needed to convert it to mpeg myself but how much more does a person pay for edited content as opposed to unedited?

he was converting regular vhs tapes to mpeg... But I believe it is even eaiser to convert camcorder tape to mpeg.. Especially digital 8 like you have.. What type of camcorder do you have? digitial 8? Mini Dv?
There are tons of programs that convert that shit over for ya.. In fack I think you can download much of it for free on the net! Post a new thread asking about it on the message board and see if anyone helps. |

Find out what program you need, and it is all free for download at this site. http://download.cnet.com/ I am positive they have what you need, you just need to find out what exactly you need to conert your vids to mpeg, and download the program for free formt he site.. They even have drivers and all you would ever need for free! |

The capture device can either be a PCI card, or a external device connected through your USB port.
I use the USB connected video capture device called Dazzle...nothing high tech at all. It will convert DVD, VHS, whatever into .MPG or .RM format. It has a simple program in there for editing the video as well. Its pretty good quality too. I convert VHS for non adult companies too. Putting their product demo video into a webformat they can use on their websites. They seem to be happy with the results. I sure there are a lot more sophisticatd ways of doing it...but Ive never had the need to...not for what Im doing anyways. Dank...sounds like you have got some sort of scheme cookin! |

Yep, I do have a scheme cookin and I got some info about something called conversions plus. It sell s for about $69.95 and I can take my dv footage and put on any format including mpeg or jpeg.

go to the store, and have them demo it for you.. Take in your camera, (with the fuck fest footage) and have em show you how easy it is to trasnfer.. Get the one that is easiest to use since a lot of this is new for you.

most of my models will be between the ages of 18-24. Rarely ever older than that. But I concentrate on just providing the best quality that I can and they're pics of girls in all different positoins and poses some masturbating some giving blow jobs and cum shots and eventually some fucking and some 2-action and guy girl action straight fucking will be a little harder to provide.
