Hi,
I know that many of us regularly post to TGP's, one of the biggest and best has been gregpix, run by the New Jersey Smut Brothers, known for their sometimes brutal descriptions. Today I was on their site and found a message telling me that to post a gallery they are now charging 20$ per month since all the abuses thay have been putting up with have to stop. They are trying to discourage people changing their galleries to popup hell after they have been posted. What do you think, do you think all big TGP's will be forced down this route? Are you willing to pay?

I seen that too.... I personally don't make enough off of tgp traffic to warrant paying every tgp to list my galleries. LOL I suppose that is one more tgp off my list. I didn't and never spam anyone so I am not paying because alot of them have...... and as a personal opinion and I could be wrong, I think there is a lot more to it than just spamming webmasters causing this.

I wonder how many people will pay. If they are really tired of people changing their galleries, etc, why don't they just have a partner system?

Ridiculous... Hey, if it's to ban popups and bullshit, charge 1-2$, not 20$ ! Serious *ADULT* webmasters will pay 1$, but 20$... lol, he sent me 30k MAX in the past month.. 20$ is more money than bandwith that we also pay... and SHOULD BE the price for a full month membership to an adult site.

Actually it doesn't sound too bad to me. If you were posting every day it would be some easy traffic. I mean all things considered it's a fair deal - unless you consider that you can't throw a dead cat without hitting a TGP. What I'm saying is, it's not an unreasonable price, but PK and Thumbzilla will list me for free...

Tam, I don't think anyone will pay every TGP, if this keeps up everybody who's submitting professionally will shop around and pay a select few - then the TGP's that run the old fashioned way will get hammered with submissions.

The quality of gregpix traffic is poor??? Well almost all tgp traffic is poor in that case.

Anyways, I usually submit to gregpix, and the traffic I receive from them is very productive, if you use it correctly. In fact I'm hoping that I can buy out several listings.

I never said Greg's Pixs traffic was unproductive or that I made NOTHING from TGP traffic........ however, what I did say is that I don't make enough to warrant BUYING links on other peoples sites.........

Just for the record, Greg's was one of the ones I always submitted to no matter who else I submitted to.... so don't get me wrong on that point.... however, if this is a trend that I am seeing here, and Greg's is not the first one and sure won't be the last........ I was merely making the statement that I don't make enough on tgp traffic to warrant paying for my placements on their tgps........ Hell I have enough trouble paying for the hosting from tgp submitting.

And someone here said we are already giving them free porn, and footing the bill for that... what more do we need to do? SOME do make a small fortune off of tgp traffic, but personally I don't, so it wouldn't be a logical step for me personally to have to pay for my links.

The ones that should be paying for these link placements are the ones who cheat these tgps............ LOL

I'm sorry if I didn't make myself very clear at first post on this, but I truly wasn't picking out Greg's Pix on this.. it was just tgps in general and what is best for me personally.

He doesn't even pay the bandwith of the CONTENT. Just the 10k html and some banners.

TGP = You give free pics, pay the bandwitdh and work 1hr to do a nice layout and submit everywhere. In exchange for the free stuff, the tgp send you traffic that comes for YOUR content.
