Sorry to strip away the bs but South Korea was ALREADY sending those troops, part of the negotiation the hostage takers had with SK gov representatives was to retract the pledge to add the 3000 troops by August. Ie, "get your troops out and don't send the extra guys or we kill this guy" they said no.. he got killed. Then you get idiots making up feel-good bullshit like "because of this we're sending guys over to fuck you up now!" "yeah this is the way to deal with terrorism - send 3000 more troops for every hostage killed!!!"
