Other than that I had a great time at the Vegas show and met alot of people and talked alot of business. There is no reason why you can't mix business and pleasure at the shows. We all spend alot of time behind a computer and its nice to cut loose sometimes.

It seems more socially acceptable for the guys to get trashed, do drugs, suck tits, etc but if the females get too drunk it's made a bigger deal of. As far as them making a company look bad, I don't see it that way. I talked talked to male account reps at the Vegas show and they were so drunk they couldn't remember their own name let alone tell me about their program. That doesn't mean I wouldn't do business with them or their company. Its happen to everyone at least once so none of us are innocent.

I have to say, the gender bias here is pretty thick. The males can get loaded, falling down drunk at shows, screw anything that walks and get their weenie sucked and they get a pat on the back.

A female gets loaded, falling down drunk at show, screws ANYONE or sucks ANY weenies, and all of a sudden derogatory threads are started about them.

Doesn't seem very fair and in this business especially, I'd hope we were past that. :(

After about at least the fourth thread about some brawd who somehow got somebody ELSE'S rocks off, the believability wears off.

There is always a thread each day about which GFY girl is a whore, or a slut for getting "friendly" with some dude at a show, but I have yet to see ONE thread about how a guy is a "MANWHORE" for doing the exact same thing! I think in both instances it is wrong, if the sole purpose for doing it is an attempt to gain business from that person... To summarize:

SUCKY SUCKY SHOULD NOT = TRAFFIC for both men or women.

Another thing to consider is that for many of us in the biz who spend all of our waking hours in front of the box, our peers that we see at the shows are often our "only" friends, confidants, and "family." Lot's of emotional issues come up, lots of shoulders get cried on, and often, "too much information" is given out...

Call me biased or even sexist all you want but I have never seen a male rep break down in tears, throw a tempter trantrum, or fake a seizure because they were not getting enough attention. BOTH the people I have in mind were showing signs of this BEFORE they started drinking. Toss 2 or 3 drinks into an unstable 95 pound person and watch the situation compound itself.

I started a thread about the people who trashed your Webmaster Accesss Show in Santa Monica and you didn't seem to have a problem with that.....But when I mention that this particular rant involves 2 females.....You and a couple others come and try to play "Captain Save-A-Hoe."

There was also another thread where I caught heat for stating that some females in this industry are hired not for the business skills that they possess but for "other reasons".....Looks.....whatever.

This is life, these are facts, if you can't handle them then shuffle yourself on over to hugsandkisses.com.

I sometimes think this is why not everyone even takes these "affiliate managers" or "female board reps"seriously.

Some of these people have ZERO KNOWLEDGHE of being a webmaster, but they land "affiliate manager" jobs

Big difference between someone being destructive and destroying property, and someone just giving you a little bit of a hard time when they have had a little bit to drink. People emotions get out of whack when they drink especially when they are coming down from the buzz.

From what I heard in one of the situations the girl apologized to you and you said to her "FUCK YOU!" this was not just from her but from the ONE other person present. Wow dude... One other person there hearing her yell at you when she was drunk. That is really going to ruin your rep. I think you might just want to take this type of stuff in stride I mean we have all had people yell at us, or had weird situations arise cause of altered states at shows. That doesn't mean we bring it here to the board.

Just something for you to think about before we instantly jump on someone, especially publicly.

I mean unless your sole gain is to ruin someones reputation and that just seems a bit destructive in nature. Who knows maybe that was your intention.
