First tell me how wearing a branded tank top in a cam chat is different than wearing a branded sweatshirt or hoodie (with a much LARGER logo, I might add) out to the store or anywhere in public. Other than that children might see the person who wears the item in public.

My logic is simple... Having more surfers posting on GFY reduces its value as a webmaster forum, therefore acts which encourage more surfers to visit GFY are stupid.

Logic? The paying surfer has no incentive to sign up to this bbs. How does she/he knows what spam will they receive. So they read a few posts and come back the next day and the next, and see all the stupid posts and loose interest and move on. :)

As someone who has had a few TERRIBLE stalker experiences, I don't want to do anything which may help out and/or encourage a new stalker. This is why I'm opposed to wearing my GFY gear on my website. When I post here, I am being 100% me. I am not willing to invite the average fan into my private world. Information flows too easily here and it's too easily to be "outed" by another member who doesn't know better. A few cute pics are not worth all that extra risk. :2 cents:
