I am so upset

i brought 50k traffic in the hope of growing my site to a decent level of traffic thus earning some £££'s but it has all gone to nothing. the highest the sites traffic has ever been was at 27k now it is at 14k

i get told alot of the time, never give up, thing will work out etc. but for some reason it just doesnt seem to work.

i have tried everything to get traffic to the site. i need to start earning cause my overheads, for example hosting costing money that i simply have not got.

Cut your losses and get out of the biz before you get into to much debt. This biz is not for everyone, and a new tgp is not going to make you any real money (as you have found out yourself).

Quite frankly, we weren't very lucky when buying traffic - in fact, when we did, it was guaranteed we would lose money. I stopped buying traffic - I would modify the TGP to be up on the search engines instead. Granted this was 4 years ago and the site is still very small - however we don't trade traffic & our traffic is only from search engines. Since I have people argue with me when their IPs get blocked, I think they like the traffic too.

I say tweak it, let it roll by itself and in the meantime concentrate on other work to bring popularity to your site & to bring you income. Make free sites, make galleries or continue to build other TGPs - whatever will bring you money to keep afloat do it.

Use your head - don't put all your effort on something that is not bringing you in enough money. Find other sources & then go back to what you wanted to build in the first place.

Disclaimer: alot of people will disagree with the buying traffic & trading traffic - it wasn't profitable for us so we don't do it. If that's the route you want to continue - there are many people here that may be willing to help you.

i dont know what can make me real money. i got a few domains i would like to turn into pay sites, for example suckeesuckee.com and handjobbunnies.com, oralental.com but i dont want to do it alone, would like to do it with someone who has paysites, so i can learn something too and have someone who has the experiance.

the traffic i brought was not productive until the end. halfway through i contacted the broker and he was very kind and offered me a refund on the remaining hits that were left, but i refused because the traffic was feeding some trades i put into place.

I've clicked on 10 images and urls go to trades - very very clean site (in the sense that there are no banners) but why would your surfer stay if they can't find content other than beautiful thumbs?

Once they get to the other sites, after clicking 3 of your thumbs that went to other sites, I think they'll stay there.

That's my personal opinion. You need galleries for them to see and for them to stay. You need banners or more text links to your sponsors.

italianninja......think about this - if you are trading most of your first outgoing links - where are you going to make your money? If the person starts getting jerked out to other sites as soon as he/she is in the mood.....+ you have nothing concrete to offer them, do you think they will buy from you? What is there to buy on your site?

I have a couple of TGP's which only have around 5k per day in hits, but they pull in a good amount of money and do not take me any time at all...

Looks like you are at 65% to your galleries, I would raise that if you want your surfer to stay longer.
Also, I do not see any "Bookmark now" link and I also do not see your top logo, when I added the "Bookmark now", the amount of bookmarker increased 10 folds, it may sound stupid to people like us who know how to bookmark a site, but lots of surfer out there will not bookmark you unless they see an obvious link to do so.
As far as buying traffic, it's very difficult to find good one, so I would stay away from that for now.

a few things that may help:

get more hardcore thumbs on there, theres just too many solo girl thumbs, and have more clothed thumbs. dont let every thumb be a nude chick.

maybe try a specific niche, because new general thumb TGPs dont convert as well as specific niches

raise the skim to 70% and above to gallys if you want better conversions

use brokers only to feed your trades not to make conversions.

get as many hardlinks on other sites as you possibly can.

4 months is nothing, if you can make it for a year then you'll have enough bookmarkers to keep your trades going if you plan it right

most of your trades seem to skim around 60% to galleries. In my experience sites that skim that much send traffic with bad productivity. However there are a lot of sites that use that skim but I can't believe they get a lot of book markers.

Personally I would set the skim to 70% and find trades with the same skim, you will have better traffic in the long run. TGP is a hard thing to get right and make money with. IMO your are probably better off submitting galleries under that URL , surfers will follow the url back to the root to see what is there. You will pick up more book markers that away if it's a clean site with a low skim.

On top of that submitting galleries will get you more income coming in faster than trying to grow a TGP.

I clicked on 5 of the thumbs and the only gallery I saw was a Lightspeed FHG, so no REAL galleries - why not make a whole bunch of your own galleries to fill your site and submit them to lots of other TGP's with your recip along with theirs, it may get you a little bit of extra traffic and you've got more of a chance of making a sale. I know you like the clean layout you have but why not make a rotating 'site of the day' review to try for extra sales from the front page - just a couple of thoughts.

Well I don't submit that much as I hate doing it, but it is a good source of income. I use Chameleon Submitter and Confirmer which comes with a database that is updated every week. Unlike most of the other submitters. There are a few that are cheaper and maybe some that are free, but I don't think they can compare with the updated data base you get with Chameleon.

I think you should have done a little more research b4 just jumping in, but if you work hard you can make some money.

*Starting* by trying to own and run a tgp is about the largest mistake in the business I've seen in 5 years or so.

Build and submit 1 freesite and 1 gallery per day. Include a link to your main site (tgp) on every freesite and gallery. Repeat forever.
