The car is the same - blue on top, white on doors.

You can't always see the gun from the front. Especially from that angle with a dark uniform, and a dark gun holster.

They only have to call a female officer if they want to pat you down. A male officer can put a female in the back of his car for transport.....been there, done that.

I have been in a cop car only once, and was smiling and joking with the cop the whole time. It was fairly entertaining. (For the record, I am not some kind of criminal. I was being transported to the DUI van for a test......passed with flying colors:thumbsup )

It is also VERY possible to be released on bail after a short processing. You don't ALWAYS have to see a judge to have bail set.

It may be real, and it may be fake, but at least come up with something true to defend your point. Everything is not the same in EVERY state, and EVERY city.

Not at all possible to be released on bail without having an arraignment. You have to be arraigned on the charges so that they ensure that you understand the charges before you are released. That is done by the judge and if it is after hours or on a weekend you're shit out of luck until the next day or Monday.

The rain on the car is quite significant yet her make up and hair are still perfect.

What she is wearing covers up more than about 75% of the bathing suits and the timeline is off. Certainly cops would scramble to an "indecency" call especially if there are cameras involved because they would assume that the subject in question would be worthy of being filmed half naked... but 10 minutes in the neighborhood and within that time the cops show up and arrest her?

If I see scanned copies of the arraignment papers signed by the judge accompanied by the booking sheets, etc. I'll become a firm believer....

It completely depends on the crime. Most jails have standard bail schedules which specify bail amounts for common crimes, so that someone arrested for something really "simple" doesn't sit in jail for 4 or 5 days on a long weekend. Also, it would be really crazy if EVERY person ever arrested had to go before a judge. It would probably back the system up way more than it already is. They are predetermined amounts, and bail can be made after processing.

The only predetermined amounts that I know of are for some traffic related offences like jay walking or reckless driving where there is no accident involved. Maybe prostitution depending on the state but for a charge that is a misdemeanor and especially this one considering it's borderline bogus they would have to have an arraignment. I used to work at a police department and know who could bail out and who couldn't.... :thumbsup

If it's a questionable arrest hence the term "borderline bogus" they would certainly want the judge to arraign her because if she was charged with a crime and it was bogus then she has every right to sue. If the judge decides at the arraignment that their is insufficient evidence to do anything further he will throw it out right there.

A lot of jails where you get nailed on Friday, processed, and if someone can pick you up that same day, you will be released. A court date will be set...

Most of the time they process and detain you, rather than arrest you.

This would not be a bogus charge. It doesn't matter if it covers more or less than some bathing suits, or any of the other crap people are saying. She was out in public in her panties! That is public indecency! Period!

Now, on to your arguement. The judge at arraignment isn't likely to throw anything out. If she wants to sue for false arrest, that can still be done without being arraigned in front of a judge. This is simply a matter of bail!

The reflection of the cop in this pic is odd.

Why would he be just standing there looking at her while the photographer snaps the photos? It looks like he's giving them time to get the shot before he gets in the car...which seems fishy.

I have the pics of her getting the cuffs put on, just didn't post them. She was walked to the car un-cuffed, as she posed no immediate threat to the Officer. However, it is department policy apparently to not have anyone in the back of the car in or out of custody without them being hand cuffed.

#1. Face of the officer is blured to keep me out of any more trouble.

#2. Memory card confiscated by the other officer was a 32mb card (with other non adult related pics) I switched out after they decided they wanted to see if the shoot was caught on film. I always carry an extra one now after reading a story one of the photographers here told about his stuff getting taken by an officer whie filming in a park with a permit.

#3. Arika is out, and will be making a public statement later today or tommorow.

#4. I posted these pics for the people who were saying she would have been in cuffs while in the car (she was cuffed) and the people who did not think it was a police car.
