If you're in a small town or rural community, yes I can see the concern there. I'm in a pretty big city with 700k people so local cops can run their beaks all they want as far as I'm concerned. Does NB and Arika live in a small town?

For one it looks like the cop drove up on private property to arrest her...And for two I know damn well it will take way longer than two hours to process a female on a FRIDAY...

When you get arrested on a Friday, you don't even see the judge to set bail until Monday..

Well let them worry about it. It's their asses on the line if in fact this is for real, not yours. Why get your thong in a twist? Cops have better things to do than gossip about people in their community or read shit off someone's t-shirt and go surfing to dig up dirt on them. Trust me, they'd process this arrest and move on to the next opportunity to violate someone's rights.

Dude, this is a small town, less than 50,000 people. And this lot was not where the offense occured, just where we parked, and where he parked as well.

And in Ohio, it is perfectly legal for a police officer to enter private property acting on a complaint. A complaint is probable cause enogh for them to walk accross or park in a parking lot.

you don't have to see the judge on every charge. some things you just get taken in printed, photographed processed and you're out. at least it works that way in some places, not everywhere but yes it's very possible to be out in a couple hours.

Could be real, I don't know many cops who would allow their pics to be taken and put on GFY for a stunt.

wrong again, they don't have better things to do in smaller communities than gossip. they gossip in big communities even, 10 times more in smaller ones. i'm not all upset i just said if it really happened it's not that funny and not a good thing regardless of the contest. having everyone know you personal biz when you might not want them to in a small community is not a good thing.

And if it was just a citation, they would have written the ticket on the spot..That's the purpose of giving out a citation instead of arresting someone..But if they took the time to drag her into jail, she MUST be booked and that will take hours after her arrest alone..And she won't have any bail set until she sees the judge on monday.

Exactly, and this was not really our neighborhood, this location was approx. 15 minutes away from where we live. The shoot location was beyond the house on the right a little bit. We parked in this lot because I wanted to stay off the street.

oh so you've lived in and been arrested in every municipality in the state right so you're an expert on this. what he's saying is the truth, they'll take you in process you, you can post and you're done only to come back to court to pay or contest the charge. and it can be done in less than 2 hours in some places.

I don't have to be an expert....I know the difference between a CITATION and an ARREST...If it's a CITATION, they write it on the spot and let you go....period and case closed.

edit....actually a citation is technically an "arrest" also but you are NOT brought into jail for booking.
