I've been thinking about going lately.
I think sometime next week Stev0 and I are going to jump in the boat and float down the bow river.
Nothing like some drunken boating and fishing in the middle of the work week! We usually camp overnight and make it a two day trip. Its a blast.

I do! but im more of a backpacker. I will probably go a couple times this summer, a couple times with buddies and probably once or twice by myself. backpacking alone for a couple days is kinda strange, it wears on your mind a little being alone for that long. plus it is a little more on the dangerous side because you are alone, so you have to use your head to try and avoid being hurt.

Absolutely love camping, nothing beats being out in the woods for a few days on end just getting away from it all.

Camped from Massasschuttes to north carolina and all points in between over the last 20+ years.

I used to spend every weekend from may to october in the woods

You have to take some time off every now and then.

Here is a better pic, I compressed the first one too much. For those of you that have been, the Smokies are the last mountain range you can see in th pic. I great place to get away.

I'm leaving for camp in one week. Do it every year. One full week in the woods doing nothing but training marital arts (and swatting horseflies) 16 hours per day!

I just booked the last campsite up there for July 1st - 4th it's going to be insane since that park is full, I wish I was going on an off weekend or during the week or something.

We are going to go later this summer, it is still getting down to -4 in the nights so not a good idea for sleeping in a tent with a 1 year old and a 5 year old. But this year I want to see Backside Pond Park and Gros Morne national park
