anyone like camping?
 

anyone doing any camping this summer? and i mean real camping not going to a hotel ;)

I am supposed to go camping for the weekend at the end of this month.. I'm not a big fan though.

I miss my computer. :helpme

im going this summer probably sometime at the end of july to upstate new york i dunno if you ever heard of phoenicia it's about a half hour from woodstock it's amazing there way up in the catskills

I've been thinking about going lately.
I think sometime next week Stev0 and I are going to jump in the boat and float down the bow river.
Nothing like some drunken boating and fishing in the middle of the work week! We usually camp overnight and make it a two day trip. Its a blast. :thumbsup

Yeah - I think I'll be going to Grand Bend or someplace on Simcoe later on in July.

Lol last summer I was going to go camping for my first time and we got to the camp site area and the place had to of had like a good 200 people camping so we said screw it and got a hotel ;)

i always do the long weekends there!

I do! but im more of a backpacker. I will probably go a couple times this summer, a couple times with buddies and probably once or twice by myself. backpacking alone for a couple days is kinda strange, it wears on your mind a little being alone for that long. plus it is a little more on the dangerous side because you are alone, so you have to use your head to try and avoid being hurt.

Absolutely love camping, nothing beats being out in the woods for a few days on end just getting away from it all.

Camped from Massasschuttes to north carolina and all points in between over the last 20+ years.

I used to spend every weekend from may to october in the woods :)

I dont like too much camping, I like comfort

I love camping! I already went up to Killbear this season, and this weekend I am going to the Elora Gorge and then over July 1st I am going to Algonquin park, let the camping begin!

I go every summer. I try to hit as many Provincial Parks as I can while the nice weather is here.

me and my family love going camping. getting away from everything is wonderful! just hope we can find more time to go this year.

Yep! This spot was a couple of hours hike, when we woke up we didn't see another person all day, and everything was very still and quiet. Awesome weekend.

I'm leaving for camp in one week. Do it every year. One full week in the woods doing nothing but training marital arts (and swatting horseflies) 16 hours per day! :thumbsup

I really want to go up to Algonquin if I get the chance...I keep telling Tanker that we have some of the most beautiful places to visit right here in Ontario so I want to get to show him some of it!

Camping is awesome. I recommend the smokey mountains and devils fork in SOuth carolina.

I just booked the last campsite up there for July 1st - 4th it's going to be insane since that park is full, I wish I was going on an off weekend or during the week or something.

We are going to go later this summer, it is still getting down to -4 in the nights so not a good idea for sleeping in a tent with a 1 year old and a 5 year old. But this year I want to see Backside Pond Park and Gros Morne national park :)
