As far as this thing with Grim goes, I'll say this: The guy has been pretty straight with me, but if this is true and not some kind of misunderstanding it doesn't look good for him. Not good at all. I'm not sure why someone would risk their name and reputation over a lousy $12k, which for the average mildly successful webmaster should be 1-3 months income at the very least. Add a zero to that figure ($120k) and it becomes a different story though I suppose.

The other thing is, I'm not sure why you keep mentioning Smokey in here. I don't see what Smockey has to do with Grimshaun, are they connected in some way I am unaware of? If not, why not keep some focus here? Smockey is a scumbag all on his own and is a whole other bag of shit.

I would still invest money in Grimshawn. I don't know the details on this story but I do know that Grim is stand up and probably is just struggling as a first time entreprenuer that is engaged to be married. I would however, have an exit strategy.

You even quoted a reply I did on JBM saying that I did not wish to discuss this on a public forum. Second, you have the amount owing incorrect. To be honest, this really hampers my ability to collect on the amount owing from Shawn. In future, why don't you contact me or even try to collect the facts from me instead of Boneprone or other sources. Did you even talk to Shawn? At least get some facts from one of the two sides.

Next, I appreciate the support from those of you who posted in here, much appreciated. Like I said on JBM, I was financing a program that was to be acquired from DragonKing for Shawn to run; I was nothing more than the financier in this operation. The amount paid is not important and neither is the program name.

Lastly, a message to Shawn since you have not replied to my various means to contact you; by section 3(D) of the contract you signed, I have the right to collect my entire payment within 30 days written notice. I offered you a 6 month settlement agreement for the amount owing. I strongly suggest you consider the latter agreement or to speak with counsel about your payment options as I won't be very forgiving and your lack of replying to my emails and changing your phone number is not appreciated. Once again, EMAIL me Shawn to discuss your financial situation before this gets any worse.

However for Joesho to come and pubically do this is not too classy.

Wiredguy and Grim have set up a payment plan to get the money back. I suggest you let those in the loop take care of this matter Shawn has dug himself into. I have offered to buy Grims debts with other people he has "borrowed" from and will collect from Grim in my own manners and ways..

This issue has been exposed weeks ago and is old news.
Grim is no longer associated with myself and private agreements have already been in the works to correct what he has done.

Grim may not have any reputaion back after what he has done, but the moment he thinks all of that reputation is gone and unsalvagable the chances of him making an effort to payback are slimmer and slimmer..

I suggest you let the people who are involved here take care of this Joe.. Not really your place.. Fluffing up numbers and mis quoting things to make the story more firey is also not cool.. As I said this is being delt with. Grim has put many of us in anuncomfortable situation which is not cool. But it is being worked out.

Funny how Joesho thinks he's in the know posting public information that has been delt with on other boards weeks ago, but hey thats Joe for ya.. Not exactly insider information.

Sorry wiredguy, that this is happening to you, I do however feel that it was a service to not cover this up, and allow false hopes of others that grimshawn may or my not have inteded to scam with his investment opportunities.

for someone that "did not have the facts", I hit the nail pretty much on the head with exception to the amount of money, but I was close enough for you to know I did not try to inflate the numbers.

I do apologize to you if I in anyway have hamperred and not helped you to get your money back... but realistically charles if/when you find that he is judgement proof with no assets or any type of collectible situation, all you will have done is waste more of your good hard earned money chasing an empty judgement I have done this countless number of times. the frustration you feel now, will not compare to what you will feel then, and many others could have been taken advantage of in the time it takes for that to run it's course.

as you know I like you, and think you are great at what you do, I in no way would wish to cause you any harm in attempting to collect this debt. unfortunatly I do feel that it was necassary for me to point out this unfortunate situation to others, and had I left the names out, then it would have just been dismissed and would allow for it to happen to others, I am sure you would not wish that on anyone , as that is not in your nature.

Yeah we saw a problem a little over 2 weeks ago.
Voodoo broght this all to my attention for the first time then at a dinner I took him out to.. The moment he saw something was wrong he wnet to wiredguy as well..

The rest has been all of us trying to make sense of it and resolve it.

Voodoo has also since cut all ties with Grim on his board as have I.. Like I said, the webmaster community is very forgiving. Instead we have been fed excuses from him.

He's put many of us in an uncomfortable position. Borrowing from friends, promising to open up programs, and then disappearing is not cool. Excuses are fine when backed up with effort, Im still wiating to see this effort.. The webmaster community is very forgiving Shawn when you bring forth some effort. You'll see some of your friends who seemed to have abandoned you come through if you make this effort..

The fact that Grim hasnt talked to Wiredguy in over 1 week also concerns me. Last I thought the payment plan was accepted and was underway.. I find it disturbing that it has not

First off, Joe, you have no right to air my business affairs on this board. You even quoted a reply I did on JBM saying that I did not wish to discuss this on a public forum. Second, you have the amount owing incorrect. To be honest, this really hampers my ability to collect on the amount owing from Shawn. In future, why don't you contact me or even try to collect the facts from me instead of Boneprone or other sources. Did you even talk to Shawn? At least get some facts from one of the two sides. Next, I appreciate the support from those of you who posted in here, much appreciated. Like I said on JBM, I was financing a program that was to be acquired from DragonKing for Shawn to run; I was nothing more than the financier in this operation. The amount paid is not important and neither is the program name. Lastly, a message to Shawn since you have not replied to my various means to contact you; by section 3(D) of the contract you signed, I have the right to collect my entire payment within 30 days written notice. I offered you a 6 month settlement agreement for the amount owing. I strongly suggest you consider the latter agreement or to speak with counsel about your payment options as I won't be very forgiving and your lack of replying to my emails and changing your phone number is not appreciated. I was as much in shock as the next guy as it came to what he's been up to. However for Joesho to come and pubically do this is not too classy. Wiredguy and Grim have set up a payment plan to get the money back. I suggest you let those in the loop take care of this matter Shawn has dug himself into. I have offered to buy Grims debts with other people he has "borrowed" from and will collect from Grim in my own manners and ways.. This issue has been exposed weeks ago and is old news. Grim is no longer associated with myself and private agreements have already been in the works to correct what he has done. Grim may not have any reputaion back after what he has done, but the moment he thinks all of that reputation is gone and unsalvagable the chances of him making an effort to payback are slimmer and slimmer.. I suggest you let the people who are involved here take care of this Joe.. Not really your place.. Fluffing up numbers and mis quoting things to make the story more firey is also not cool.. As I said this is being delt with. Grim has put many of us in anuncomfortable situation which is not cool. But it is being worked out. Funny how Joesho thinks he's in the know posting public information that has been delt with on other boards weeks ago, but hey thats Joe for ya..
