DVD to editable video: Help Needed
Hi,
Are there any video gurus around who can help me? I have a DVD that i want to turn into an mpeg file so i can edit it in my editor. Is there an easier way to do it on my computer with a DVD drive, than having to hook up a dvd player into my video capture card? Thanks in advance for any help. |

You need Smart rip to rio the DVD into VOB files.
Then you can transer the files into AVIs using DVDX. |

The fastes way to get a DVD or any other video down to your computer as a mpegI will be by using a ext. DVD Player and capture the video via your TV, or capture card.
If you need it as a mpegII VOB Files) you do it via a ripper, of course |
