No, he didn't forget any event or anniversary. He just doesn't do spontaneous things like that. It simply doesn't occur to him.

Well, if he's anything like me (and most guys)... then it's just one of those "silly girl things"

Us guys just expect that eventually you're going to just know that we love you, and not need to keep showing it to keep you aware of it.

Women need to keep being reassured, guys just want to have to tell you only once and not bring it up again.

It's kinda silly on both parts if you ask me, but that's generally how it tends to go (based on my observations).

I don't get flowers, either, but my husband does do other nice things for me, sometimes. I guess it all comes down to whether or not he does ANYTHING for you. If flowers (or lack thereof) are the only thing you have to worry about, you're better off than alot of women these days.

Mine remembers the major days that requires flowers.

For a while (two years) every Friday he would bring home a nice bouquet then he stopped. Asked him why and his reply was that the ?hottie? quit and it wasn?t worth his time standing in line for five minutes watching an old man. I just laughed.

Wish that girl never quit?he told me there is no longer a line anymore, but if I wanted flowers every week just buy them. Takes all the fun at of it.

I am with you, Sweets! I enjoy recieving things for no reason... who doesn't?? However, I would much rather enjoy something that will last. Flowers only last a week or so.

Maybe I stated it wrong. I would like to receive flowers instead of expensive gifts on my birthday, Valentines Day, the date we first met (since we always laugh about our wedding and don?t really celebrate our anniversary).

He knows I love fresh cut flowers so I receive flowers on almost every holiday that requires a gift.

Gifts are not mandatory they come from the heart. No one gave me flowers at our wedding and most people request donations to a charity in lieu of flowers when someone dies. So I guess ?giving flowers? is not required?

But my man is not bad, one night I was out and came home to those tea candles all over the floor, lighting up the hall, the bathroom and livingroom, and he made out of our sons paper and crayons were love sayings and telling me places I had to go to find the next one, then in the bathroom there was a nice hot bubblebath with wine, strawberries and chocolate, then gave me a massage what a night that was!

I find 1 night like that wipes out all the stuff he forgot, cause it came from him just wanting to do it for me not having to di it for me!
