Speaking of him not liking to buy flowers..... you know, I'm not all that crazy about going to a flower shop and buying them either, but I've done it, and I'd do it again. Also, you can pick up the phone and order flowers over the phone with your credit card, takes like 5 minutes and it's done.

Sometimes doing a little thing that you don't enjoy in order to give your partner some enjoyment is just something a grownup does, at least one who truly appreciates their partner and wants to show that appreciation. It's not like buying flowers is some major imposition or personal sacrifice or anything.

It doesn't have to be flowers anyway, it's the thought behind the gift that says it all. In my relationship it's kinda the other way around. I'm what some would call a hopeless romantic, lol. I absolutely love doing spontaneous things. But after 6 months of spontaneous gestures and not getting any in return, KINDA makes me feel a little unappreciated. I mean I'm not talking material goods, or anything involving money, just a little random note or e-mail saying they miss you or something, hehe.
