This is an interesting thread.

GFY is an allegory; the evolution of this board I think parallels the evolution of the industry as a whole and what you are seeing is change in a clear form.

A lot of doors are being closed and a lot of windows are opening right up.

It's seeing it with a narrow view that prevents a lot of old timers from benefiting from all that has changed.

when i first registered, and even way before that when i just lurked about - there was many more useful posts. now it seems like people are just posting useless shit to bulk up their number of posts and sell their retarded sig to people.

I was commenting only on the people who has posted in this thread at the time of my posting.

I've been in the Internet business since 1996 and even took a company public on Nasdaq. I'm a true dotcommer asshole.

While you were posting on Netpond or Y Not I was raising hundreds of millions of dollars from venture capitalists.

When I got in the adult business after the crash of 2000 I certainly didn't jump into message boards. It wasn't until I had a breadth of products worth promoting.

hahahahah!!! I remember viewing GFY in 2000, I didn't join and post until 2001. There were not many if at all girls and it was cool. The players were for real and I got lots of help. But now? There as of this year many many girls and lots of BS but GFY is still funny and if you really look, you can get help.
