Wearing glasses just for PC ? - GoFuckYourself.com

I just talked with the doctor an she told me that it makes no sense to use extra glasses for PC work, when you normally don't wear glasses because your eyesight is very good.
I told her i sit whole day in front of the PC but she told me just the obvious things, like to take eye drops, make breaks etc...
I had never worn glasses in my life, but I thought there are some people who wear some glasses just for the PC, even though they also don't have any problems with their eyes, just to help preventing eyesight damage.

Any comments

never used them, probably never will - i always have enough light around so i can see my tft clearly

Don't know about people with good vision. My vision sucks and I usually wear contacts but now that I work on the computer all day I can't stand to have my contacts in for more than 20 min. Sucks for me, maybe one day I will get Lasik!

ive been considering putting some sort of a screen in front of the monitor so it doesnt glare as much.
