electracash is a BS company. Holymoss: you should make some serious changes!
It'll teach me to bash a company on a board, see thread http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...readid=276410.
Now electracash isn't replying to my e-mails and they haven't issued the payout I requested over a week ago. Hollymoss: I am not processing with electracash on any of my sites anymore and have e-mailed Debi a while back about your crazy rates and very high returns only to get some lame response such as "I am at loss to explain why...". How the hell can you charge me for proceesing e-checks for clients such as these : Reference ID: 1003126721 Customer name: rit rtq for $39.95 or 1003243078 for Mr Ben Dover for $199 These guys (rit rtq and Mr ben Dover?!) got access to my site for a whole week for free and I was charged for the processing too! They both came back as invalid items (needless to say) and you say you have scrubbing? I wasn't refunded for these charges and they are not the only VERY bogus signups I got using your system. Get your act together electracash and pay me my money too please. |

Dude - your totally over reacting - first of all - checks are a delayed process - you know that setting up - its not as instant or sure as credit card processing - 'coming back as invalid' item is something that does happen.
Have you picked up the phone and talked with them? I used electracash for more than a few thousand transactions without fail problems |

3 e-mails to 3 seperate depts. on the payment issue (with no reply in over a week) and multiple e-mail exchanges with Debi, Fitz and Jusitn concerning the returns. I can back anything I say here and I wouldn't have posted on this board if I hadn't tried dealing with them first.
The customer support and response was very good and the people at electracash are very nice, but they are not giving us the truth about the way they apply their rates + how their system really works. Has Mr Ben Dover or Mr rit rtq ever signed up with you profitprograms? I guess not, lucky you. |

![]() In defense of E-cash, it is hard to sort thru the bull and Pamporn I am sure that there is a man named Ben Dover out there somewhere. I work for a company similar t E- cash and know how hard it is to scan thousands of transactions a day to make sure the crap is screened out, it can be done but there is only so much you can automate, the rest must be done manually. We do it but I am sure some get thru, it is the nature of the beast.

Mr. Angel
I did some investigating and I chatted with ECASH staff. See what all the fuss was about. It seems that you have a celebrity website. Hey .. nothing wrong with that. But I think everybody knows that celebrity sites are infamous with high charge backs and ?friendly fraud?. Most end users want to GET IN see the content and then turn around and GET OUT. In the last months, most of the 3rd party cc processors are reluctant to accept processing for celebrity sites ? ACH processors are getting most of these sites. ( lucky us .. ) Also, from your post I see that we e-check processors need to do a better job in educating adult merchant how the ACH process works; ? You won?t get that real-time authentication as you do with credit cards ? Have to wait 5-10 days to know if a check is clear In return * Your are able to REACH to customers who might have credit card Consumers credit card maxed out * A good way to diversify your transactions to keep with the 1% charge back rule * A solid and safe alternative to maximize your USA traffic. We can talk all we want about e-wallet type alternative solutions. But the fact remains most all American have a checking account. So e-checks I believe are a great alternative to credit cards. It is your business you access the risk and return in adding different payment methods. hmoss www.hmossconsulting.com |

Thank you for looking into all this. First of all I'd like to apologize to Debi, I did not intend to disappoint her. She has always responded to my e-mails and has always been very nice. I have the outmost consideration for her. Nonetheless, I can't agree with what you say. Even if its a celeb sites (cause for high returns) I don't understand why I get charged for non-existent accounts, invented account holders or bogus account numbers. With proBilling, WTS or Verotel I only pay for transactions which have been validated, in other words given credit for (unless the client charges back or requests a refund at a later date). I think the people at WTS posted a clear explanation on this. The bottom line is that we pay 25% average fees with electracash and that's too bad because you have a GOOD company but a BAD system. I wouldn't really care if I didn't have to pay for the BAD part. I went with you because you pay out daily which is a very good thing. I process credit cards with many processors and rotate them and don't have any CB issues but i prefer to process checks seperately. If I didn't give a shit I wouldn't spend my time bitching but I do because I liked working with you. Hope you'll come around soon, then you'll have a bright future. I replied to your ICQ message btw... |

We used CCBill Checks, Jettis Checks, Achbill and Electracash.
Electracash has the worst system, charge 10% on Gross Sales and their scrubbing system sucks. That means you pay 25% of fees on Net Sales. On top of it, they charge more than 10% flat per transaction if you look at your overall stats. (it's called fraud) Now, that's verifiable on ALL electracash accounts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On on personnal note, they are harassing me to send them a check of $290.00 because the account is in the negative. TOTAL SALES: $8,070.60 $3,126.55 (Net Sales) - $807.06 (Fees 10% of Total Sales) - $2130.15 (Distribution) - $20 (Misc) = $169.34 Reserves (5% of the Total Sales): $403.53 The ending balance as of Today without the Reserves: $169.34 The ending balance as of Today with the Reserves: $403.53 I waste like 3-4 hours to prove them that they OWN me money, and they are still bugging me with a virtual number coming from their *** that they can't even explain. Go use achbill or anyone else that know how to calculate and don't charge fees on GROSS (including invalid check accounts that they don't even blacklist and re-re-re-join the site, each time collection the fee on you) ![]()

-------------------------------------------------------------------- Achbill (Charge Fees only on Net Sales) $4,932.90 (Gross Sales) $184.70 (Late Returns) $69.90 (Returns) $4,678.30 (Net Sales) Return Rate: 5.2% Electracash.com (Charge Fees on Gross Sales) $8,070.60 (Gross Sales) $4,434.90 (Returns) $830.36 (Fees) 10.29% vs 10% in contract $2,805.34 (Net Sales) Return Rate: 55% We have made 2x more sells with Electracash, but are paid 2x less than Achbill. Oh wait... they pretend we own them 300 bucks so go figure out. They are completely on crack.

Th returns are higher (especially chargebacks) from EU checks or EU debit. I am thinking of killing that option. It adds payment possibilities but the returns are so high they cover all the profits we make with this service. |
