![]() This question is for webmasters living outside US and EU with paysites.
I am in Asia and I just signed up with CCbill for CC processing and found out that in order to accept Visa payments I need to register my business as a VISA sponsored merchant and pay an initial registration fee of $750. Or I have to sign up with EU CCbill. I can't do both becuase I am not a U.S. Resident or in E.U. So if you living outside U.S. and E.U with an adult paysite how are you accepting Visa payments and what step did you take to solve this matter. Please advice. thanks People.. |

the $750 dollars is become standard now...the only company that doesn't require it is verotel if you use their ticketsclub program.....i'd suggest just pay the $750...it's worth it......there are some other small mostly unknown companies, but i wouldn't trust them.

No chupacabra I am not in Japan.
I am in South East Asia. I need some advice from you guys. I can't register a visa approved business in U.S. because - 1) I am not a U.S. Citizen 2) I am not physically in U.S. to do the paper work And the other option is that Visa requires EU acceptance. So is there any way that I can maybe register as a EU merchant? I just want to know what other people in my situation have done. I am going to loose out big time If I cannot accept Visa payments on my site. So help me out folks what can I really do to accept Visa charges? I can pay $750 for the merchant fee, but that method also requires that I register the business in U.S. I have, CCBill and Ibill as my processors at the moment. I am all out of options. ![]() |

I use Verotel..Had to move from Scrubbill when they changed their regs, and have not looked back. For you they may be the best alternative.

spooky181, I was thinking of Verotel.. but lot's of people are mentioning bad experiences with them. I am a little concerned with them because of this fact.
But how are you doing with them? |

I just wrote a letter to Verotel about my location and want see if their payment processor can be used by me.
I also wrote Paycom.net because they seem to be helping out international webmasters with merchant account. All I can say is I am not alone on this matter. I know 7 other webmaster who want the same thing as me. This Visa issue sorted out, sometime it's really unfair for us because the folks in Asia like us can't operate a paysite successfully because of these Visa sales. And if I miss it I know it's a big loss for me since the majority of surfers pay with Visa CC for paysite membership. Sheeeeeeesh what a situation ![]() |

I phoned the CCbill client services but they ask the impossible from me. They want me to register a business name in US and get it Visa approved.
How can a non U.S. Resident do that ![]() Is there a helpfull CCbill Rep on GFY online anywhere? I am sure there's a way to sort this out. I don't mind paying $750 as long as the Billing company can setup the Visa account for me. I don't understand why they only accept U.S. and EU nations only... ![]() |

Hello H.I.G
Not every billing charge for VISA fee. Not every billing need US or EU presence or incorporation. If you are still interested in billing options - let me know about it - [email protected] |

Actually it is VERY easy to found a U.S. corporation -- no matter what nationality you have.
Foreigners usually choose Nevada or Delaware ... just search in Google for "incorporation nevada" ... you will find lots of companies which will set-up a corporation for you. It would paobably cost you less than $1,000. You don't even have to travel there. Don't forget regular costs for accounting though. As a foreigner you might also found a corporation in Europe, which you might prefer (over the U.S.) for political and ethical reasons ![]() Nevertheless costs are usually higher here.

Ok Guys,
I've made my decision and first of all I am going to thank all those who replied to this thread to aid me on this matter. I am going to have my Visa traffic sent to - Cardsgate And my Master Card, JCB and Discover traffic - CCbill Both of them have good affiliate options for webmasters as well. So I am going to configure my join pages to allow surfers to easily find their way to the appropriate billing page. The cardsgate system looks very solid and I am glad I got this sorted out so I won't loose out on the Visa sales. Ones again thanks for all those who replied and helped me out. GFY Community ![]() |

Ok, I have 6 months experience in Cardsgate, very good company, the aff program is solid and haven't miss a payment, they pay weekly, and fast, the stats are very comprehensible and offer more info than others, including Ibill
i was Ibill customer for almost 6 years, until the VISA regs came, i've also been with Websitebilling, Ginix, Globosale, Verotel, Duthbilling, Globill, Probilling, PSW, and others, and let me tell you that Cardsgate is good, very good. And obviously i KNOW what i'm talking about. El Demonio

There response time can be quite poor, and on occasions I have recieved no replies at all to emails, and thier live help is very rarely on. But again if it is sales you wan't and a processor that seems to be in for the long haul then Verotel is by far your best option.. ![]() |
