great place quiet...

we rented two new condos in Niclaus North... that too were fully furnished.. the one I stayed in was for sale for $2.1Mill.. 4 bd 4.5bath... mad prices in that area...

I did see some condos listed at the westin for $199-250k.. but no pics... have you ever seen them? with the olympics coming any property in the village will be a hot commodity...

thanx sounds like you guys had fun.

yep, I know Nicklaus North. and as you get closer to the lifts, the prices go up. this place ended up costing me a little over 1 Mill. the new Westin properties - i've heard some info on that project, but nothing concrete. i believe Westin is not going to be phase one covenant (could be wrong though) which would mean you would have to rent the place out 47 weeks out of the year.

check this out for more info, and to get on their mailing list: http://www.yourotherlife.ca/

My kid sister lives in Squish and was telling me that the development going on there is crazy. In Squish the prices have gone up over 100k in the last year. As the Olympics get closer your condo will probably double.

tough question. obviously tremblant has things going for it, but saint anne could equal it in the future. if you could invest anywhere, i'd go with kickinghorse in the west. i think it will explode in popularity and value in the next 10 years...

so Quiet.. why did ya opt to pay cash since the interest rates are so low in Canada (5%)? ... as I would think you could mortgage 5+ of them.. with the same 1mill and sell them off right before the olympics.. and keep your favorite one... and clear an extra $5Mill plus in profits.. but then again.... I'm sure someone told you to go the other route

several reasons (which i do not want to discuss on gfy lol). i have money tied up in many different areas these days, this was a very low risk, high yield investment that i will also enjoy at the same time, including certain tax benefits
