my new Whistler condo
a couple people have asked me to post some pics, but i haven't been up here much since buying the place. i'm finally going to be here for awhile (hopefully a long, long while), so here are some.
the real estate market is absolutely insane out here, and i think i made a very solid investment. brand new and right at the base of Creekside gondola (60 feet away from the lift line). 2 bd/2bath, slate floors everywhere, granite counter tops (kitchen and bthrms), natural stone fireplace, 2 patios, radiant heating underneath all the floors, huge win dows, 12 foot ceilings, bose audio piped into all rooms, absolutely perfect views of the 2010 olympic downhill run, as well as the awards podium. weekly housekeeping included as well :) also 2 outdoor hot pools and a huge outdoor swimming pool open 365 days a year. it came fully furnished, i'll be replacing some of the furniture this summer. i'll also be replacing the carpet in the bedrooms with hardwood, and installing a large flat screen lcd tv in the living room (probably the new 42 inch sony). http://catalog.com/uvlight/images/whistler/01.jpg http://catalog.com/uvlight/images/whistler/02.jpg |

I almost made it to Whistler once. Too bad I took the wrong boat from Vancouver Island.... I ended up at some land locked place. When I finally figured that out, the last boat had left and no Whistler for me. That's what I get for trying to take shortcuts :1orglaugh |

I noticed you have Alberta plates, but your location says MTL and whistler....whats up with that? My roommate is in whistler right now snowboarding. If it wasnt for lack of funds I'd be there too :( Congrats on the new purchase(s). Your my new hero, seriously. |

Very nice quiet. That perhaps the one thing I miss the most moving from Vancouver to Toronto is the mountains. Great skiing at whistler and blackcomb.

do you own it? or is it a time share type of set up? if it is yours only, then maybe a suggestion of getting rid of the hotel looking phones, and tissue boxes in the bathroom would make the place a little more home like IMHO:2 cents: |
