i'm not 100% php will be needed but pretty sure cold fusion is. the programmer will be available to decide whats the best method

Better way to find coders that are good would be ask for SQL +
XML + OS Type and see what options come up.

The guy I mentioned combined Flash, XML and Cold Fusion for www.modelgig.com

CF kinda suggests you might be using wi-ndows. Which I'm sure
is keeping the best and brightest away from this thread.
