that was my first thought looking at that picture. on the other hand, from looking at that picture you're missing a lot of context - but the fact remains.. the tank is fucked.

Now we have Iraq and unless Bush get's out now he will be rembered for the failure.

The only thing that failed in Vietnam were our politicians micro managing the military and making a decision not to take control of North Vietnam.

FYI the Vietcong were destroyed for all practical purposes during the "Tet" offensive initiated by the VC. It was the NVA that took control of South Vietnam two years after the American forces were withdrawn.
