A 34-year-old man, believed to be mentally deranged, cut his penis, burnt and ate it at his house in Kampung Baru in Kampung Koh, Sitiawan, early Saturday.

A police spokesman said the man, believed to have taken hallucinatory pills before the incident, is said to have done so after hearing a voice asking him to do so.

He said the man was awoken at about 1 am on hearing a voice asking him to cut his penis, burn and eat it.

"The man then wrapped his penis in a piece of cloth, burnt, and ate it," he said.
