Heh, yeah. The damn tech cycle. That's the thing that had me trying to hold out for a G5 Powerbook for 6 months. I got tired of waiting and got an Athlon 64 laptop instead.

I don't think the wait will be long. Only a few companies are making them in that size. I think around Christmas we will see a price drop and a heck of a selection.

NoCarrier you are right but I don't think the price drops that much from company to company. Let us know where the cheaper ones are in that size.

i know size is a concern for you, but now that I remember when I was looking 2 years ago I bought regular 65" toshiba cause it did blow away the plasma's for clarity. I had the room for it though so i wasn't concerned
