I don't see why it's so dangerous. Worst case you hit the parachute and lose an expensive toy.

While I was taking a rest a little while ago I got the idea that i'd get a hang glider and some small jet engines and see if I could get the thing to stay in the air. A little googling later and I've found my new business goal: Buy one of these.
