Depends what you're using it for. Using fabric softener because you need to make the 20lb bond paper you buy for your laserjet feel just like US Currency paper is pretty manly for example. Adding that shit to your dryer on the other hand...

If you leave the washer lid open, it stops before the rinse, so you can close it and wait for it to fill up then add the liquid fabric softner..
