Honeymoon?

We actually did not honeymoon, but did Disney with the kids in Florida.
What a Lampoons vacation we had. The mother-in-law was whacked, at the first hotel we stayed at...Brandy and I were physically assualted by a maid from housekeeping. Had to get the police involved in that.

Then at Disney, we're in line at the Animal Kingdon for a river ride and my 5 yr. olds left ear began a slow stream of blood flowing as he had burst his eardrum.

FAR from a honeymoon WG...we're thinking of trying to do that AFTER InterNext.

We'll see, but damn glad to be home after this crazy ass vacation!

The lovely maid story goes a lil sumpin like this:

These maids call and to abbreviate, end up shouting at my 9 yr. old. Upsetting her for sure.


I heard them in the hall and proceeded to question them to find out WHICH one was the rude woman to provide such great customer service.

One of them ends up shouting at me accusing me and my daughter of lying about someone from housecleaning shouting at my daughter. She then gets pissed and in my face shouting she's tired of my shit and my daughters too!

I'm pretty aghast about this, and try to coerce the lady standing near us that was a housekeeping superviser to come with me to the managers office.

No luck and she snubbed me too, and turn around to walk away as the other loud mouthed maid began screaming about us.

I had indeed had enough and bellowed at her: "BITCH, SHUT YOUR FUCKIN PIEHOLE!"

Brandy saw what was up and jumped to insert herself between the maid and myself, and the maid shoved her and hit her with a clipboard.

I then insert myself between the 2 women and dare the woman to touch me! She started screaming at me and calling me a liar again, and I told her to shut her "wage-whacking mouth before I did it for her!" At which point she threw herself at me trying to shove me backwards.

She never saw it coming, but I gave her immediately back what she gave me with 2 open palms on her shoulders and dropped the bitch!

We called the police and it dragged into a 4 hour ordeal with the Highland Beach police.

Friggin crazy. In the long run, they gave us great upgrades at The Marriott up the road in Del Ray for a front row view of the fireworks there for the 4th.

Is your 5yr old okay? Is he going to have a hearing loss? (I always thought busting your eardrum meant that ear was deaf from that point on.)
Okay, it's the mommy coming out in me. I've got a 5yr old too so I'm immediately focused on the poor little guy. ;)

Yeah, Zach is just fine with his eardrum. This happens with kids from time to time. It tends to be VERY painful when it bursts, however...we got lucky! Very little pain from him...just that pesky earfluid.
He's on anti-biotics and should be 100% again very soon, and yes this is something that you can completely heal from with no long term affects.

As to the topic, and why they do or don't charge...its each sites perogative. Once also has to ask what they have done to add some exclusivity in their sites.

For instance, we have a GREAT Google list, and adding new tools all the time!

It was indeed a crazy vacation. I mean...from hell.

However, I will say this. We did indeed give the kids a vacation to remember. In between the wierdness, which they see as something small and meaningless anyway, they did and saw things in S. Florida for 6 days before we ever got to Disney and then did all 4 Disney Parks.

My daughters birthday was celebrated with Dinner in Cinderellas Castle at Magic Kingdom. Our table gave her a front row seat to watch the fireworks display that Disney does at the end of the Spectral Light Parade and they light up the back of the castle with Fireworks. The rest of the people in the resturant, gathered behind her seat...so she felt like she was front row for a Fireworks display...all for her.

So we created some great memories along the way, but wow...it was indeed an experience getting to those neat special times.

Sounds great, in a Clark Griswald sort of way!
