Before I pull the rest of my hair out, can someone that know Arles help me out please
Okee Dokee, here's the deal....
I have a a gallery index page I want to use as a template. I have galleries created by Arles. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to merge the two pages together. I have a couple of ideas, but I don't want to rename my images or change my gallery structure. As it stands, I am set up like this... members >>galleries >>>>gallery_1 (not named like that but close) >>>>gallery_2 >>>>gallery_3 etc...... I have an "index" page in each gallery folder. The "index" page is the one I want to use as the template. Basically it is a modified version of one of my other member's area pages. I thought I could copy the index page to each directory and use it as the template and just plug in the Arles code but that is not working. I tried a search here and on the Arles forum board with no easy to understand step by step instructions. I can give someone a user/pass to my site to check out the pages if that helps also. My ICQ is 346940591 if anyone will be on for another hour or so I would really appreciate the help! |

Lets see here.. *Cranks up the old Arles.. blows the dust off*
Currently using version.. 5.2.7 Try hitting Ctrl + T to bring up the Template info? But what I used to do was select the Index Page tab and then hit HTML Design and then Custom HTML. Put in your tags and shit relevant to your site structure, everything is self explanatory, and the thumbs will load in the body. Hope that helps somewhere. Wheres my $20? ![]() |

I ended up doing using the custom HTML option as I know it was possible before.....I'll be honest, I was to lazy to cut and paste the code. I was thinking the template option, wherever it is would just allow me to point to a template and Arles would take over. Oh well, worked out in the anyway. Thanks for your advice. |
