I´ve never tried shooting porn before but I´m a bit curious about it now.

What equipment do you suggest just for trying it and would you hire a professionell model or does the amateur model next door would be a better choice?

depends on what kind of content you want to shoot. i would take pictures of every girl that would get naked. there's a niche for everything, even ugly girls.

Yes, but I haven´t got any experience in photography. So I had the idea to shoot some testimonials first - just to learn to get along with the camera and the model

Honestly: I think it´s difficult to get some useable results and it is not like buying a camera and a flashlight.

One of your most difficult problems will be finding models who will work with you without a track record.

Girls very quickly find out that there are a lot of guys with a digital camera that assume they can easily dupe the model into having sex with them.

What is *your* motivation?

Some help for you:

Digital cameras these days give good results, even on cheap cameras. Just point and shoot.

If you want 35mm, get an autofocus SLR.

If you shoot from a studio make sure your camera will fire studio lights. If a 35mm SLR, then all you need is a hotshoe connection.

Some studios have glamour nights, where you do shoots with others (at a lower rate). If you do this, it will be cheaper for you.

There are plenty of model sites and model message boards to ask for models.
