Going to make it here shortly. What's a good way to make it? I figure it's probably good on the grill, no?

I'm clueless, help!

Diced raw and placed in small dishes of pure lime and lemon juices.

The acidity in the juices will cook the salmon as it sits.

Shit, looks like I'll have to make a store run. What's a somewhat quick way to make it? We're getting a little hungry here. By the way, it's salmon steak. Don't know if that makes any difference?

next time i would get salmon fillet. steaks have bones. if you like it for the thickness theres a special way you can cut a salmon fillet chunk to fold it and make it the same size as a steak.

Yes massa. Just bought a new one last week actually. No cedar though. You know, I should have asked this before I went to the store... what an idiot.

As a matter of fact, I do. Even thought it makes me want to vomit.

Just cook them on the grill. Make sure you brush butter or oil on each side right before you put them on, so they won't stick. Put them in a pan or something firm ahead of time and season them with whatever you want. If they're an inch or so thick, it will take about 5-6 mins on each side.

One of the easiest ways to cook it, especially your first time, is to wrap it inside aluminum foil and cook on a grill over medium heat... usually about 20 minutes is fine, depends on the thickness. Before you seal up the foil add whatever seasoning/marinade you prefer. A mix of white wine, butter, slices of garlic and lemon juice/slices across the top work well for this method. Steam cooks it and keeps it moist. A good teriyaki sauce and pineapple chunks works well with this method also.

Enjoy.

Try Steelhead next.

Quick and easy.

Season with salt and cayenne pepper, a little garlic and onion, if you have it.

A few drops of lemon juice, if you have it.

Put butter in a frying pan.

Saute on both sides.

Eat.

If you don't have butter, you could use olive oil, but it's not the same.

If you don't have a frying pan, bake it.

Well, if he lived in the Pacific Northwest, he wouldn't have to eat Atlantic salmon ever again.

One of the nicest perks about living up this way is steelhead and wild coho and copper river salmon.
