I personally wouldn't waste money on feeds. Make the site different somehow. |

A script that says "last updated:" with a date for like the day before the present day
a gallery of the day even if it's old a pic of the day even if it's old people forgetting to cancel...

give away free stuff.
depending on the size of your site, 1-10 free dvds, calendars, tshirts, etc wouldn't cost you more than $100 and they'd help retention.
