That does suck and the only thing you can do is work through it. You need to grieve the loss of your girlfriend and just feel the pain for a while. The only good thing I can say is...it does get better, but it takes time. There is no instant relief for a broken heart....Good Luck and hang in there.

I hear you. One such girlfriend broke up with me back in the mid-80's, I was totally devastated. I stayed in bed for a week, couldn't eat for 3 weeks, lost over 20 lbs and was just sick inside that I'd lost her. I wish that I could go back in time and tell my old self what I know now. It would have helped greatly.

Well, working out is good therapy too.... do you go to a gym?

If your chest hurts you don't "go get drugs from doctors" man..... you go see your doctor and tell him your chest hurts. They do a few quick tests like an EKG, chest X-ray, and take your BP to see if anything is up, hopefully it's nothing.

Go get that checked.
