![]() Anyone know a good AVI codec. Im storing , editing video.
So, Divx will not work - and the DV codecs are great but the file size is too big - anyone know a codec with good compression/quailty ? One that will also be editable unlike divx? ![]()

For any mpeg-4 codec, editing will be dependent on key frames.
You really end up with two realms, editing and compressing. We edit Huffy in premiere and then compress to DivX. When doing quick editing we will cut by keyframe in an encoded file.
