And - yes you can edit using a high quality divx file as a source, it depends on what program you are using ... i will email my brother because he has edited out using high res divx - ill email him this thread ... i only work in premeire with huffy, but my bro knows more about using a high res (low file size) divx as a source...

Yes I've tried the huffyyuv codec - its great quality but file sizes are too big

- I need to store lots of video - Divx compresses great , but I use Premiere and sometime vegas - they can not edit the video - thanx for everyones input and please post any info you can ;)
