Hey I got pulled over going 95 in a 45 zone! The cop let me go and told me to slow down! It was 2 AM on a street that nobody was on!

I just told the cop that I had to go to Sav-On to get my roommates daugther some things cuz she was really sick!

But usually if you're white in Huntington Beach, they're easy on you, which in reality isn't fair!

You're a fucking moron, and I happen to feel the same way about retards like you. Anyone who insists on driving, oh let's say 30 mph below a REASONABLE speed, should be pulled over and ticketed. You'd be first on my list, mr. slowpoke.

Actually, if you're in Texas, the night speed limit is 55 MPH on Interstate 10!

I bet you chill in the left lane cause you're doing the speed limit or a tad above it and completely stop at yield signs. Those two things piss me off the most and people should be ticketed for that shit.

Yes I think people should be ticketed for going slower than the speed limit! Because driving slower makes a lot more accidents and traffic!

Although, when I'm in another state than what my license plates have, I drive the speed limit! I know out in Wyoming, they hate people from Cali and will pull them over after going 3-4 miles over the limit

Damn, 3-4 miles? Rule of thumb for me is 5-10miles over limit. I've never had problems even out of state doing it.

ok, you needed to save 45 seconds by doing 98MPH instead of 70MPH. look what happened, you got pulled over and probably sat there for 20 minutes. explain your logic to me, because i'm confused.

You're the ignorant one Mr. Moron. If you think that driving slower is going to help anyone, you're sorely mistaken. Just because your sight is bad, and you're reaction time is horrible, isn't a reason that OTHER people should drive slow as well. You should retire your license BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE.

98 mph vs. 70 mph is an almost 30% increase in time. Over the course of 4 hours, that's over an hour saved. And if people like you weren't on the road, traffic would be flow a lot more efficiently.

Imagine this scenario....

You're buzzing along at 98mph feeling like mario andretti

Some old guy sees you, but cant judge your speed, so he pulls onto the freeway

so you hit the back of his car going 98mph and kill yourself, the old guy, his grandson that was riding with him, and your boyfriend that was slobbin your knob while you were driving

hmm.. would that be good or bad... i cant decide

uhm. at 100mph you have MORE than enough time to shift lanes or slow down. now if it was 140mph, itd be different and I can see your argument.

not if the lane next to you is oncoming traffic, and the old guy doesnt see you and just pulls out

something similar has happened to me on a rural alabama 2 lane hiway, i ran my RX7 thru the ditch and bent my right rear wheel

I could see you making this argument about driving your Hummer H2 at this speed, but under normal circumstances this is a lame argument. I suppose driving a big peice of shit like that and having never driven a decent handling car, you could think this could be likely, but most people don't drive 98 mph in the merging lane buddy... that's sucide waiting to happen. Most people don't drive Hummer H2 death machines either.

lol, well ya I can see your point on a 2 lane highway and totally agree. But 2 lanes doesn't really qualify as a highway, and one would be an idiot to be doing a buck on one with people on the road. Although I have hit 145 on a 2 lane road in PA, but noone was around;-)

I have to agree with both of you. I woudn't pull 100 MPH on a 2 lane highway, but on the 5 lanes one I have, I'll go about 90-100, but I don't get close to the back of people and I keep a eye on my suroundings! But usually if I'm going this fast it is early early morning or late late at night!

Yep, and their assholes if you get pulled over! But that is if a "ranger" is on the highway and see's you, but I don't know how may "rangers" are patroling most of that highway!

Speeding tickets suck, especially when you are only driving as fast as everyone else. I think people who drive slow and hold everyone up are far more dangerous. People get frustrated and end up taking bigger risks just to get passed them.

Actually if you're staying with the speed of traffic, and a cop pulls you over, the way to get off of it or get a lighter fine is to tell him something like this.

Officer, I know I was speeding but I was staying with the speed of traffic and didn't want to cause any back ups or traffic!

90% of cops will let you go for being honest! If you are honest with the cop and he is a nice guy, you'll get off lighter than what you would've of got.

Now if it is a asshole cop, be a asshole back cuz you're shit outta luck!

Exactly. This is why I think the CHP should focus more on pulling over the people who are endangering lives going 55 in 70 zones, instead of pulling over the people moving more swiftly.
