Branding is totally amazing.

I got hooked in my teens. A friend of my fathers was having a hard time coming up with a catchy name for one of his new clothing lines. I came up with one the guy loved. The line sold great and I remember being in a department store and seeing racks full of the dresses with the name I created on the label and I was completely jazzed beyond belief. That was the coolest feeling to see it everywhere.

i guess name really matters... just like our own name... isnt it sucks when our name sounds like "EWW" but still that sounds yucky and eww ring a bell when somebody hear it.

On the flip side, brand names can become so hahahahahaded in our vocabulary that they become generic instead of referring to the actual brand only. Coke, Band-aid and Kleenex are examples.
