I actually have it running right now, the file in my shared folder is called http://www.tonyscastingcouch.com_str...eur_280prom o

I have no clue why any surfer on kazaa lite or any other program would download this file with that name on it, anyone with a clue knows its a spam for a website.

If you want people to download your files then name them as such:

amateur-fuck-sex-teen-bbw-cumshot-whore-mature-0001.wmv

where the words are search words and the 0001 is your first advertiser (obviously), that would get people to download it maybe, but not spamming a url.

So wheres all this content at? I got 1 1.38mb video clip, she is hot, but none the less I can't make 1 miiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllllion dollars on 1 video file

Whats even funnier is that after I ask them a question that they have a hard time answering they call me a "dick". And then they think they are winning over webmasters....

HAHAHAHAH i find that funny...

Ok all- here is the basic rundown of the overall SwapBucks program. Please forgive all the confusion if I create any (lol).

There are 2 types of programs depending on which one suits you best. PeerProviders and PeerMasters.

PeerProviders have one simple job- Signup and provide content that they own. During the staging process, they assign a nitch/genre and the pop url for the content. After that, It then gets seeded to the PeerProfit P2P Network for distributuion.

PeerMasters now pickup where the PeerProviders left off and use the PeerProfit p2p application to retrieve all of SwapBucks approved PeerProviders content. The reason for the P2P application is to distribute the content quickly and effectivly to all of the PeerMasters running PeerProfit. So, now we have a PeerMaster running PeerProfit with, oh let's say, 50 approved files from a bunch of random PeerProviders that are all unique to him. It is now up to the PeerMaster to figure out how he wants to monetize and beat the competition by sending the most traffic possible on his unique files. The most obvious step, seed it via other p2p networks. Distribute his files on cds. Put the files up on a webpage. Burn cd's and hand them out to college students... (lol) The list goes on and on really... All that matters is, that for every unique hit that happens when the file is viewed, that PeerMaster in turn gets a hit.

The payout system.

As stated, SwapBucks takes 50% of the 100% revenue made that month and divides it amongst the peermasters BASED on their traffic percent. So if there were 1000 hits marked, and I sent 100 hits, I'd get 10% of the new 100% revenue. Very simple, the more hits you send, the better your percentage increases, the more money you make... If PeerMasters are competitive, that drives up the overall traffic and the conversion ratios of people buying into the sites gets better. Hope that clears it up...

How many ppl are going to try and defend the company? LOL

First of all your 100% revenue figures conflict with previous employee statements...

Second of all no one has answered...

"How do we know exactly what is the "overall Network Pool of money" aka 100% revenue ?

How can you guarantee that the "overall Network Pool of money" can't be fudged in your favor? We have to go on your word? HA!"

Also what happens if the overall revenue is not enough to cover the amount of webmasters sending traffic to the program? You gunna cut checks for less then a cent?

Why? Because I am asking questions you do not want to answer? Because you need to sign up under various names to try and promo your prog to save your ass? Your operation is a joke.

I have never seen a professional company before call someone asking a question about their program/company a "dick". I wonder why....

You sir are a moron who's program will go no where because you lack communication and people skills.

Am I missing something? http://download.peerprofit.com/ shows a login screen, but there appears to be no way to register. I get the same with both MSIE and Mozilla.

You first need to signup as a PeerMaster at www.peermaster.com. Once approved, you will receive your login credentials which can then be used at http://download.peerprofit.com/

That will always be a varying percent that relies on the number of PeerMasters seeding and the quality of the content provided by the PeerProviders. I can assure you we don't lack in either numbers or quality of content.

The bottom line is... GET PAID TO FILESHARE. As PeerMaster, you really don't have to do much other than run PeerProfit and say, Kazaa, and watch people leech away... and your hits go up. I don't see how to explain it any simpler than that :P

This thread made me laugh.

I think the question is simple. What happens if the 50% to be split between the webmasters is $0? There needs to be a set payout for most of us to consider promoting it. A pay per click or pay per download model may get more people interested.

Put the files up on a webpage?????

I guess you have never heard of Acacia? Who the hell is going to pay $1500 a year to earn 1%? 2%? of something they have no clue what it is going to be.

You have a great concept here, but the pay system sucks. Why not just do it on a pay per signup and get it over with, or a pay per view %.

First off your the one acting like a dick when you cannot give people a straight fucking answer which you can't even answer yourself, you put out a decent idea here but have no clue to answer questions and market it properly, people ask you simple questions and you get all cock in hand mad.

Secondly, for the way you have acted on this board with your program you can kindly delete my account which is brent206 and take your program and shove it up your ass.

What is the difference between putting my own vids on my kazaa then giving them to you to promote and take a piece of my pie?

How would you gain substantially more exposure to my video clip?

Thanks

Another question is do you have any online enities like sites or P2P networks that also push the video?

Hey, if peopleare paid by the amount of clicks I send rather than the amount of signups, then I am sure there are some people who will make sure they send the top amount of clicks using some bot or another.

Whoops, did I just say that??

Ok for anyone thinking of tryin this system out, i will explain a few things.

I spoke with this fellow last year about this idea, and it is a good idea, but i think in the rush to get this technology out they skipped a few steps.

The payout schedule needs to be figured out so people can get some kind of idea what kind of $$ they are making etc etc.

I just downloaded the systm last night and gave it a demo.

Problem#1 dont make stuff start when my computer starts unless you ASK ME FIRST !!!

Problem#2 I can run the program and connect to the p2p network fine , but cannot log into the account system at swapbucks.

Problem#3 This whole idea needs WAY MORE explanation.

Problem#4 This could become illegal very fast. ( you need to do a bit more work )

So for anyone interested in this software, i would wait a bit, and see how it goes for others.

I will demo it a bit longer and let everyone know whats up.

I have thousands of sent and seeded files so far.

There are 2 categories peer providors ( avergae joe's who just want to make money sharing other people's files )

And peer masters ( those with content to share )

You can puch the content on other p2p networks as well, like kazaalite.

The coding is done in the video's The same basic popup codes you have seen on videos in windows media player 8- ( except much more secure )

Who encodes the video?

I have several sites ranging from $9.95 - $29.95 per month. Do I have to change processors or signup fees?

This is confusing.

Oh, I would be providing video.

Thanks for all the comments. Explaining the payout has been done here several times.

I just want to correct one thing that Smokey said, who seems to know it pretty good so far. PeerMasters are the "average joes" and PeerProviders are "those who want to provide content". I'm sure you understood it, you just probably typed it backwards by accident.

As for everyone else here. The invitation has been given by me and everyone else at SwapBucks to ask us questions, which we have answered honestly. Every new product takes some getting used to and educated about. Yes, there are some small things that we still have to accomplish.

There have been multiple ways of contact put here on this board, it seems that people just enjoy bashing what they don't yet understand. Not one e-mail to our company about anything? I don't understand? I think it is just that there are the playground bullys around the boards that take pride in trying to find a way to make something look bad.

I for one am here to help people understand this thing, and I'm not gonna "go away" with my program. It works, people will shortly understand it and we will catch up quickly. Maybe it was rushed a little bit to the market, but it is still a good thing.

I can assure you that everyone interested in SwapBucks is reading this thread and we take our product very seriously and we are here to answer questions, which we have done.

BTW the main swapbucks console has some glitches.

Try right clicking on the console when its open and running ( click on the surface area ) it shinks by a few pixels every time you right click on a blank area. If you alternate between right and left clicks it will freeze or disappear alltogether.

Something strange with the way the transparency works.

Headless, you are being a dick ;-}}}}. And there are pros and cons to this system just like any other.

However, I don't see how running a p2p app on your machine, where you do nothing other than install a few files, is really causing anyone to do any real work. If you made an extra hundred bucks a month on it, it's all gravy for doing nothing at the end of the day...

Though I do think there are a few things that will probably be revamped over time, from what I've seen and heard, overall it's a sound structure to me.

I cant remember who i spoke with at swapbucks long ago about this idea or even where we spoke about it on.

But before windows 9 came out i was thinking of creating the same type of affiliate program and this fellow seemed very smart and had his idea already thought out. So i didnt jump in the boat.

It seems like a good idea, like i said , its still very confusing , and i think that scares people away from using it.

You should run a link to a movie so everyone can see how it works.

Heh i think you should have expected that

It uses quite a bit of resources, so it is using up your time. It takes a bit longer to read gfy when its running

It would be nice to see a good breakdown like.

CABLE CONNECTION RUNNING 12 HOURS A DAY

NET AVERAGE MONTHLY INCOME = $______

56k CONNECTION RUNNING 24/7

NET AVERAGE MONTHLY INCOME = $______

Just to give us an idea of what to expect.

Smokey,

"It uses quite a bit of resources, so it is using up your time. It takes a bit longer to read gfy when its running "

Our app uses resources your not using at the time. That seems fair doesn't it?

We have not been able to reproduce the problems your having with the left click right click resizing.

That was probably Me Smokey. Fortunately we had a GREAT SHOW with an amazing positive response and we have rolled out this program for everyone in a prompt fashion.

Believe me it wasn't easy

"It seems like a good idea, like i said , its still very confusing , and i think that scares people away from using it."

You know what that's valid feedback and we intend to make changes on our site and materials to reflect this. In the meantime Airek is doing the best he can to address all the questions while continuing to deploy and support our PeerMaster and PeerProvider groups. SO please be patient.

"You should run a link to a movie so everyone can see how it works."

No problem you can easily setup the app and check it out on your machine if your confused still by signing up at www.peermaster.com

We would if we could. We don't know what the answer is. It's more than zero and less than 100M a month. We are willing to explore that question with you. What does your cable company limit your upstream transfer to? Do they?

We will continue to post answers to all questions here in a timely manner.

Regards,

CNote

If asking a simple question is being a dick then so be it.

Nope it was just your format and style. You were rude to Airek without cause and we all took it to be that. Back to your questions.

Where are you still confused please explain?

CNote

My format and style? How many times should I ask the same question? I counted at least 4 times before I or anyone else lost their cool. I was not the first one to loose their cool either. If I remember correctly your guy called me a dick first.

anyways, this thread is already old news...

Actually it's not old news and your questions were not clear and we did answer everything we understood and we are here and you threw the first stone by telling us that our Marketing Guy needs to get his SHIT TOGETHER.

First off he's not our marketing guy.

Secondly we are doing everything we humanely can to answer all the emails and posts regarding our program.

I would be glad to personally answer your questions but the tone has to chill.

Now where are you still confused? PLEASE TELL ME as KNOW we need to spend more time and resources on this.

If you want listen in to YNotBob tomorrow and get the scoop.

Regards,

CNote

I already have the program installed and have been using it for awhile now.

I meant you should have a video for people on gfy to download and see how the system works.

There needs to be some setting added like * do not start on startup

And you should have some limits on hd space. I dont see any anywhere in the settings.

Will it just fill on up till my harddrive is full ?

How many different aliases are gonna sign their posts "CNote" in this thread?

My question still stands. What if the 50% split between webmasters is a low amount or $0?

Smokey,

"I already have the program installed and have been using it for awhile now."

Hey what's your username?

"I meant you should have a video for people on gfy to download and see how the system works."

AGREED. We are working on this as we speak. Thanks for the idea.

"There needs to be some setting added like * do not start on startup"

AGREED and this was just added to the devel teams' list of stuff.

"And you should have some limits on hd space. I dont see any anywhere in the settings.

Will it just fill on up till my harddrive is full ?"

Agreed and this was also just added to the devel teams' list.

Keep 'em coming

A few other notes,

The program doesnt seem to seed the files that are in sub-directories.

But it shows them in the preview.

Also about the glitch on the main console of the program itself.

If you right click just above the "program button" and to the left of the "configure " button on the blank console background, it attempts to minimize the console , sort of. It shrinks the console so you can only see 1/3 of it, if you right click on the visible portion , it shows back up again.

Now if you right click , just below the green " + " button on the far left of the console , you will notice the console starts decreasing in size by 1 pixel at a time. Keep clicking on it and it will gradually disappear and reappear depending on where you click.

I had an interesting conversation with one of your people at the SwapBucks booth at Internext.

"Who's behind this venture, anyway?"

Swapbucks chick: "I'm not allowed to say."

"That's okay, I already know the answer."

And that's all I'm going to say about the subject.
