one problem for those with open networks is you don't know what people will do, can you imagine getting a letter that you've downloaded 1000 songs on Kazaa based on your IP address?

Anyway... I think the US is getting ready to get hardcore anti about this sort of thing. Mostly because what SF has planned for the internet is nothing short of virtual communisim... starting with your internet connectivity Canada... only the moose know for sure. Change your boxes hostname to some sort of tame message like JustSurfing-NotSNooping-ThankYou ... although most people would probably freak anyway? So maybe just change it to David- instead? Dunno... the other network can get your mac address though. |
